I mean, she did during an episode of The House of Mouse and, my personal headcanon is she WAS the girl in Goofy's part from Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas, but she'd changed her hairstyle and name, the former because that's just normal as we grow up and the latter... well, judging by what little we saw of her dad in the movie, he likely became or already was a criminal and, once he was arrested, she changed her name to have less connections to him. I mean, aside from appearance, how can I NOT thinks it’s just Roxanne at a different point in her life? It's literally the same Voice Actress playing her, so it just makes sense to decide it IS Roxanne having changed her name for whatever reason

@@autumbreeze1129 Of course it makes no sense why she wouldn't be there. Unfortunately, the CG couldn't get her hair right so that's why she was replaced. And I know of House of Mouse but until they release it on Disney Plus (rumor says by next year) and bring her back again, I won't be happy.

I have to wonder what happens in the riff around that point in the dream sequence, because Saber probably already is making sex jokes (and I can appreciate them, even when they are a bit much, sympathizing with Rishi's responses)

I think the reason I keep misremembering this movie as coming out in '97 or '98 is because, at least at the time, UK fashion, music, and aesthetics were basically whatever was popular in the US a few years earlier. Or maybe it's 'cause 'Stand Out' sounds similar to a song released in the late-90s. IDK

I remember a lot of people wondering why Peg and Pistol didn't appear in this movie. In fact it lead a lot of fans to speculate that Pete and Peg must've devorced at some point and when it came to custody terms Pete got custody of PJ and Peg got Pistol.

Pete is the kind of man whose wife would leave him if ever there was one in a Disney cartoon.

I saw this movie when i was really young, before i even knew English, and i love it, but to this day, the entire "Opossum Park" scene is unwatchable to me. The way the people are hootin and hollerin and crowding Max, and the little girl gibberishly singing along to the jug band with her unnerving face just sets off my fight or flight instincts. Like whenever i put on this movie, i have to walk away to another room till it ends.

This movie is unironically one of my all-time favorite movies! It's just got such a fun world that takes advantage of them being cartoons, a fun story, great heartfelt moments, a phenomenal soundtrack, and thought-out characters with great voice acting!

Wow never noticed Mickey at the concert but then I remembered that Mickey and Donald were going to California in the 🎶on the open road🎶 song

I'd love a drunk recap of both goofy movies! I miss those.

Ah just remembering the 'Goofy' OG release was in theaters with 16:8 widescreen, however the VHS was 4:11 so Nashville girl nor Micky's cameo was ever noticed. LOL Noticed when had the DVD re-release. Had much research with the hand drawn/CGI animation. *Wink, wink. Nudge, budge.*

Leading where Max again estrange to his dad in the next sequel. Goofy isw too dumb, but girl is got to do what she wants to do. Sorry but as the youngest boy of 14 or so sisters from a Navy sailor dad your world tends to fold and flip itself on occasion. ;)

They put an X right on the border of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana plus making the route and state shapes crazy nearby so it's impossible to tell. Somewhere in the great lakes region for sure. The line through lake Michigan is very concerning lol

@@Wohlfe I can't speak much, I've barely driven through there at all. Feels like it would be a bit more upper middle class in a way, though Goofy and Pete's career points are VERY different, even if both of them are bachelors afaik (no Peg or Pistol in this one, though as someone brought up, it might've originally had them in it). Makes me wonder if Disney really was just lazy on trying to maintain any canon for Goofy, meanwhile there are whole charts about Donald and Scrooge's family tree.

I've had this movie on DVD since before 2019. Can't actually remember WHEN I got it, but I know it was before that year. Annoyingly, aside from the movie, the DVD has no features. It also starts the movie automatically, despite not having Disney FastPlay. Some people think Roxanne and Max Don't make it as a couple, since the last time we see them in anything together is a random episode of Mickey's House of Mouse show. Personally though, it's my headcanon that they stayed together as, while it COULD be viewed as Max is with another girl in what is clearly a very serious relationship in Goofy's part in Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas, I say it's still Roxanne, having just changed her hairstyle and name, the former because that’s just something we all do as we age and the latter because, considering what little we see of Roxanne's dad in this movie, it wouldn't surprise me if he's a criminal and, after his arrest, Roxanne changes her name to have less connections to him. I mean, Max's girlfriend in Twice Upon A Christmas is literally voiced by Roxanne's Voice Actress. It just makes more sense that IS Roxanne because, what's the point of giving Max an entirely different girlfriend and then have her literally sound exactly like Roxanne? It just makes more sense that she IS Roxanne

I actually spend more time that i probably should have trying to figure out where in the U.S. they started their trip from and best i can guess in somewhere near the ohio/indiana border.

The part where they are all watching the concert on tv and Bobby starts out skeptical about Max being there is the one part I dislike most in this movie, And when he says "Yeah, Max is on the tube. That's Max I know him" I can't help but think "Man shut up already."
