Cheetahs don’t live in nuclear family units like that. They’re also missing the classic tear stain markings unless they’re supposed to be leopards or jaguars in which case the spots are wrong (cheetahs have black dots while leopards and jaguars have different versions of rosettes) and they still don’t live in nuclear family units……

OH MY GOD I remember my stepdad geting a bunch of red box movies for my 5 year old sister to watch in the car during a long ass trip and this was one of them!! I was 16 at the time and in the back with her, I stopped it as soon as that bird pulled the camera

i know voice actors gotta take what roles they can get but was there really nothing better for tara strong and tom kenny to be doing

I seriously thought this movie was like a random memory I had as a kid! There are times where I randomly sing the first song (which honestly is not that bad it’s kinda catchy!) and people ask me where it’s from and I use to say “I don’t remember” but after watching your reaction to this with Richi it just made my brain go all the way back to when I first saw this!

that story about eye lashes is an example of some thing I have had to explain and defend many times that I shouldn't have to.

I’ve been waiting for someone to talk about this movie for a long while. Ngl, the one part I enjoyed was Bajrangi and Alex’s dynamic. It was genuinely funny at times.

This movie is actually pretty good in my opinion. I mean it is sad and dark but I did watch it a lot when I was younger. So I'm just here for nostalgia. Thanks for reminding me of this movie dude. 🥲Also Rishi is a great friend to you.

I remember coming across this movie by accident and thinking this is probably one of the weirdest things I’ve watched in a while I had actually forgotten about it till I saw that you were doing this movie and all I could remember was the monkeys wanting to go to war!!!! And how weird the music was

when i was a wee child, i would buy this from the red box movie rental and i'd watch it over and over which is something i'd usually do with rented movies because i'd only have it for one day. looking back on it now makes my head hurt, it's so fucking crazy

I’m gonna be completely honest. I bloody loved this movie when I was a kid- this was my stuff. And I’m now like “huh-“

The thing with these type of movies with a big wild life needs protection message is that it’s not impossible to care for the animals and put blame on the humans for what happened, but it goes in an incredibly unrealistic direction as per usual when it comes peta and it’s preaching. People don’t stop their cars to gang up on dangerous wild animals, they can’t talk to humans or wield weapons. The writing just comes across as incredibly biased with no actual understanding as to why these these things really happen.

Could be a cultural difference. It is a bit weird tho since India is one of those countries that, if a wild animal kills a human, they just accept it as nature. They don’t go hunting down the offending animal to kill then cuz they’re a danger to humans, which is common in the west.

I saw this movie as a kid and was obsessed- I told my teacher about it in like third grade during an animal science/protect nature unit and was like, “we should watch it in class!” I had forgotten about all the guns 😭

I’m pretty sure my brain block this movie from my memory cus as I’m watching this I’m thinking, “Why does this movie feel so familiar” and as I’m watching more of it I realize “Oh I’ve definitely seen this before” cus some of these scenes, characters, and music feel very familiar

This one reminds me of the German movie "Konferenz der Tiere" or animals United as it was named in englisch. I had to watch it twice cause the first time my school went to see it and the second time cause my little brother wanted to see it I remember almost nothing cause it was so boring. I only know that norm of the North is kinda close in concept by the African animals also trying to stop a hotel being build on their territory and them even going to New York in the finally (Another funfact: the book it's based on was recommended to disney decades ago, but they declined cause it's too political)
