Like the video appreciate the info. Bloodaxe has actually come in rather handy for objective holding. unit of 3 at range holding an objective in the open. Sit with a 1+ Save. Makes them surprisingly tanky. That or they have to fire hefty weapons at them to take them down. Also try a sacrificial warboss trukk boy in mega armour with the supa cybork body. Heck of a distraction carnifex.

Blood axes is great because u can cripple a unit , fall back FORWARD around the unit you just honey badgered, and charge another unit further down the board, while your shooting or lesser units clean up the the crippled unit

don’t forget freebooterz don’t just give +1 to hit, it’s +1 for each unit killed. so if you can wipe two units before fighting with meganobz, their saws and klaws are hitting on 2+.

you cant get more than +1 or -1 to hit as per core rules

@@therealmoysifer of course, but when you have a -1 to hit (such as on saws/klaws or shooting heavy weapons after moving) the +2 cancels out the negative and only actually applies a +1. MANz are WS3+, saws give them -1 to hit (so WS4+) then proc freebooterz ability twice for +2 to hit puts you at WS2+. you can never get more than a +1 to hit from your base.

This is indeed correct, RAW, freebooterz allows for multiple +1 to hit, the first would cancel the negative modifier from the melee weapons, while a second would grant a +1 to hit. Excellent point.

Trukk up some meganobs w/ a weirdboy, disembark and charge turn 1 and kill everything. If they live, Da Jump them to the other side of the board with the weirdboy, and then charge something else and destroy it. rinse/repeat until your nobs are all gone

id love to know your thoughts on the killsaw wording of "if equipped with 2 killsaws they get 1 extra attack with this weapon". My interpretation is that as they have two killsaws, this rule applies to each killsaw, therefore meaning they get +2 attacks. Is that right or wrong?

The stipulation is that it requires 2 to get one single additional attack. Vice the choppa and dread klaw profiles simply stating, “each time the bearer fights it makes 1 additional attack with this weapon”. The way I read it, if it was meant to confer an additional attack with each killsaw, it would read the same as a choppa or Dread Klaw.

That's how I play it. 1 killsaw; no extra attacks - 2 killsaws; 2 extra attacks because for each killsaw the restriction (if equipped with 2) is met. So each weapon gives 1 extra attack if there are 2 of this weapon.

Hey Dominic, thanks for the feedback. We were pretty sure he set a record in this one when were editing! He normally doesn't have as many, but sometimes after taking a break from shooting these, and coming back, it takes a couple to shake off the rust. He is part Ork so you have to factor that in also. - Adam.

Well the killsaw is each worded to give you an extra attack when you have two so when you have two they have the same ability as a choppa giving you 1 extra attack with each one so two more attacks.

You should trukk boy "regular" Nobz instead, as survivability matters less than damage output in a trukk boy. Off the top of my head, so might be wrong: 10 Claw+Choppa Nobz comes in at 260pnts vs 270pnts for 6 45pnt Meganobz. They definitely hit harder too. I believe that double saw Nobz would be 7 pnts cheaper a piece if you really badly wanted that profile. But yeah, that's my 2 cents. Durability not needed for that strat, so don't pay for the 2+ armour.

On paper they do more dmg but you have to take space into account. And don't forget the Hit em Harder Stratagem. It can be pretty tight in the enemy deployment zone. But they are pros and cons to both strategies, i love the option.

"They come 3 to 9...." Technically it's 3 to 10 (2 plus boss nob up to 9 plus boss nob). It would have been nice if Boss Nobs and Flash Git Kaptains had something to differentiate themselves from the nobs/gits they were leading. A pip of leadership would have been nice--otherwise what's really the point aside from keeping the kewl 'kaptain' name around? On the topic of morale, while I don't mind low leadership for orks--it is sort of their thing after all--not being being inordinately brave just often being too dim to recognize the danger they are in. I just don't really like the fact that this disincentivizes huge 30 boy mobs--a staple of ork lore/play for decades now. Let's face it, if you are an ork and 5 or 10 lads in your 30-boy mob gets blown to bits while closing with the enemy that isn't a bad thing. First, you know you've come to the right place, and second, there's more for you ta krump because you don't have to share as much anymore. Any lad with a dozen or two other boyz around him isn't going to run away just then and face the razzing he's going to get when the survivors return to camp that night. Orks need a modifier to their morale rolls based upon how many other boyz are around--maybe a -1 to the morale roll for every 10-15 boyz (or wounds or something) within a few inches of the unit taking the test.
