With Da Jumop bear in mind it is much less reliable now as there is no way to boost casting number.

I run them as Freebooterz rather than having a 2nd detachment/clan, purely so that +1 to hit effects as many units as possible once its triggered

if i'm going a boy heavy goff list I like taking my boyz in squads of 10-20, maybe 1 squad of 30 for da jump+warpath turn 1. I've mostly settled on a Goff "speedwaaagh" where i bring battlewagons, bonebreakas, and trukks to move up the battlefield and deposit boyz to hold the enemy back and take objectives. I've played a about a dozen games with this type of list and it does fairly well and have won most of them, even with most of those games I'm almost completely tabled by the end. The enemy is just locked into one side or one corner for too long to comeback as I max out or nearly max out primary points and get at least 20 in secondary points. Its a lot of fun seeing the enemy kill 10 boyz and thinking "ha, i've crippled his attacks now" only for me to charge in and still roll 35+ saves to make as my bonebreakers run over their other units. Or see them pop a bonebreaker, and then realize they have the boyz to deal with still next turn and/or a warboss in mega armor.

Same strategy as me! Got a list example by any chance??

I'm buying ~2800 pts of Orks off a friend for like $400 (great deal, I think). Going to run a vehicle heavy list with a whole bunch of 3D printed grot tanks/mega tanks and buggies. Looking forward to more ork in-depth unit tactics!

I think people are overlooking some potential "Bad moons" shenanigans. Da jumping a 30boy blob with shootas(they will be in dakka range thanks to their range boost)87 shots or so, popping the exploding 6's to hit strat, remembering that 6's to wound are ap -1...you're gonna kill some stuff. Also their warlord trait is great,"da best armor":4++ and +1 to armor save...remember this is a warlord trait, so it can combo with the mega-armor relic...giving you a mega armor Warboss with a 0+ armor save!!!

I think the full squad shooting on average kills 3 space marines, and maybe 6 skitarii rangers with their buffed up saves, sadly I don’t think that’s the best use of 270 point unit, but it could be effective at killing guard screens to let you get at their juicy tanks! Totally agree with you on that Megaboss though, I’m a huge fan and I’ll likely discuss him at a later time!

I definitely plan on discussing Kans in an upcoming video, they’re such an iconic unit! But a quick TLDR would be run 5, not 6. 6 opens up getting nuked by high strength/dmg blast weapons like a Thermal Cannon. Also definitely like them with skorchas. Possibly for tellyporta/ramming speed 1-2 combo. With that flat 3 dmg, the extra attack and upgraded WS, they can certainly slap like never before!

IMO for Goffs, snaggas boyz are way better in melee with S5, or 6 when they charged, 6+ invul saves, and 2+ WS when attacking monster/vehicles..regular boyz are just S5 max, but they are better for shooty army (bad moonz) cause they can bring shootas
