It's kinda wrong though. It's more about the nationality rather than the race. He didn't say I won't fight any African. He said I won't fight another "Nigerian". Yes, there's 200 million. John Kavanagh fears Conor, like everyone else in Conor McGregor's clique. They're all yes men out of fear. Conor might take it as a them biting the hand that fed them. Here's an example, Last time John Kavanagh praised Conor's opponent was Khabib and at that time, Conor and John had huge issues, with rumours of Conor leaving the team and friction being present. It's weird...Everybody gives Khabib a hard fight. Then, when Khabib gets in there and fights, everybody's like: "of course Khabib won; all he does is using his advantage in wrestling"... It would've been the same with Chandler. Where was his legendary punching power against Gaethje ? And where was his unbeleivable wrestling ? Chandler was the one going to the canvas, if i remember correctly... It's always the same s***. And now, Makhachev is getting the same treatment from the MMA media. "What if Dariush wins ?"; "What if Makhachev can't take [enter name] down ?". Deep down, everybody knows what's coming...They know Dariush is not gonna be the champion by the end of 2022. Too many holes in his game, and the competition is too stiff. This isn't a BJJ tournament. This is MMA; and the closest thing to MMA is Combat Sambo. And guess what ? Makhachev is a 2-time world champion in Combat Sambo. So good luck trying to surprise him with your grappling...It's not happening...

@@jonwifebeaterjones6389 Makhachev's Sambo is gonna be the biggest factor in this fight (that's the case in all his fights in reality.). Everybody knows how great Oliveira's BJJ is, but there's still a lot of people undermining Makhachev's Sambo. It's like they're refusing to see how great he is on the ground as well, in his own way. Makhachev's got no holes in his game; He can grapple, he can wrestle, he can strike (yes, he can ! Despite what everybody else is saying), he can submit people off of his back, his takedown defense is on point, and he's got no cardio issues in his fights. Makhachev is a two-time world champion in Combat Sambo. Like i said, I don't think anyone could throw stuff at him that he's never seen on the ground.

The coach is literally been so blindly content even tho his prodigy fighter with hybrid MMA style has pretty much lost his karate kid hybrid style anymore.. movement, distance management.. just being in the moment, not trying to force everything, in press conference, in the corner, in training, in competition... Weight classes exist for safety not competitiveness imo, there are probably a few smaller fighters who could run rings around Derrick Lewis and win a decision 9 times out of 10 but if he hit them clean they could literally die. He already lays out guys that have 250lb of muscle, huge skulls and 18" necks, what's going to happen when you don't have that inherent impact absorption. How the hell would DJ get close enough to land anything without taking a shot? There is an 18" reach advantage, Francis would absolutely not be worried about any strike allowing himself the luxury of throwing any strike at any time, and Francis doesn't even have to land a clean shot in order to damage the hell out of DJ. 0% Chance of winning.

Uncle Chael asked earlier why Francis was the villain when he was set to fight Gane. And that got me thinking. Perhaps it was because he knocked Stipe out in that fashion. When Francis fought Stipe the second time, I was really hoping Stipe would beat him again. Fully knowing that he could get knocked out. And that’s exactly what happened. It was really sad to watch the fight not even be remotely competitive. I guess when you watch a celebrated champion like Stipe get knocked out like that, you instantly think the guy who did that to him is the villain. Now that I think about it, that was really unfair to Francis. He deserves to be the champion and be celebrated as a champion.

Faith doesn't just mean "believing without evidence", that's blind faith, it also means "confidence". Many think their fighters can achieve great things, often times based on what they know, and obviously some are deluded sure

Faith does mean believing in something in the absence of evidence. That's the definition of faith. You're straight up wrong on that one.

Gane had not been took down so nobody knew what he could do and come to find out, he terrible and so is Francis but now everyone is like oh Francis is a monster wrestler, he made leaps and bounds and all he done was slammed him and laid on top of him. Jon Jones, a real wrestler will demolish all of them in wrestling

Conor was definitely winning the first round of the second fight, idk how people see otherwise. Dustin landed clean shots but Conor landed more, Dustin did land a few leg kicks but those really didn’t pick up until the second. Conor landed the better shots more often but his leg was a balloon a minute into the 2nd. The trilogy was closer than people think but he definitely was losing, but the first 2 minutes was mostly Conor

He literally got rocked by dustin on the feet and shot for a takedown because of it, the only thing he was landing was kicks that damaged him more than dustin. Then he got his face mashed in on the ground by dustin. Thank God you're not a judge.

  • @scottc2076

Conor actually did win the first round agaisnt Khabib tho. Double the strikes. Conor landed several very clean and very hard elbows to the dome of Khabib. Khabib got a takedown but did very little with it. You have to give Khabib credit for having a good chin. And statistically he did outland Dustin on the feet 17-8 in the 3rd fight. You always say damage trumps all so you can give Dustin the round but you cannot give Khabib the round.

Honestly imo Jack looks good, but if he could get down to LW, i think he has a better chance to crack the top10/5. Though im not counting him out to be a contender at WW. 100% a fan after seeing him on the contenders series. Shavkat on the other hand...im believing the hype for sure. Him at MW imo works just as well as him at WW
