When I figured out what the title was referring to it really twisted my perspective while reading Roadside Picnic. Very different from the 3 Body Problem style of contact books.

You're joining us on The Dark SIde (evil laugh!!)🤣 Moreau is probably my favourite Wells, from what I remeber about Dune Messiah it's a pretty good sequel (although i'm not the best person to talk about Dune to). Roadside Picnic for some reason I've never read, I may have top pick up a copy.

Though I’ve read Dune twice and love it, I’ve never continued in the series, so I too might read Dune Messiah later this year. I’ll be curious to see your science fiction list in a few weeks, Al!

There is so much I haven’t read in the genre. I think I will post a 25 sci-fi authors I haven’t read list first before I settle on a TBR, just so I can begin narrowing the options down a little.

Great video! I read some great Sci-Fi last year, so I see where you are coming from. I really need to re-read Dune, simply had no interest as a young teen. I am planning on doing similar things with the fantasy genre starting next month. I have the War Of The Worlds on my kindle and am saving it for a reading event.

War of the Worlds has been on my shelves for years and it’s really time I pick it up. Scanner Darkly was my first Philip K Dick. I’ll be curious to see what you think of it!

You know Im a huge Ken Follett fan, read everything; Jeremy Fee and I The Kingsbridge Series. I enjoy some sci-fi, especially Dan Simmons and Gene Wolfe.
