This was good!! A few things I would tell my 30 year old self… 1. If you don't fit in, accept that you've been set apart. Sometimes the people we start out with and/or THINK we want to be with aren’t meant to continue in our journey. 2. We had recess for a reason, take a break to release energy and recharge. 3. Investing in real estate is a great way to build generational wealth. 4. Empathize quickly, criticize never. Include yourself in this. Be kind to yourself. Some of your trickiest battles will be you vs you. 5. Keep moving when you want to give up, just beyond average is extraordinary. Keep planting seeds!! God’s harvest is everything!! ❤

You are doing the work, love that for you 👏🏾. If I could, I’d tell my 30 year old self to dedicate disciplined time for God’s word and to tap more into my mentors + wise believers. I’d convince myself to find a church home (in person AND virtual). I’d tell myself to prioritize therapy and to be consistent in multiple areas of my life. Cheers to your 30’s being even better than you can imagine!!!! 🎉❤✨

Therapy Lakeeee LOL. Kirsten, it's truly been a joy to get to know you and grow in friendship with you in your twenties. I feel like I've learned a lot from you, despite (the very very smallll) age difference LOL and I'm very excited to see your growth in your 30s. God and therapy really is the blueprint and I'm proud to see you doing the work in real life. It's easy to pretend. It's easy to ignore. BUT to sit still, experience your feelings, and keep doing the work, IS NOT EASY. As I enter my Jesus year, I would say to keep learning God's word and keep centering your values. I'm excited to celebrate this milestone!!

Set apart is the one! It takes awhile to realize that but when you do, you think differently and can accept what God has you go through. Thank you for this list, SO good! ❤

So proud of you and having witnessed some of the work you’ve done! One thing I’ve learned now being 34 is that the marathon continues. You’re in a constant state of becoming, always and each version of you will require more/new work but with Christ as our foundation, we go from glory to glory to glory!! You will meet we be starting at a deficit

I love hearing you say that you did the work. I’m going to be 32 in a couple of weeks, and one thing I learned at the end of age 29 is that it’s not time that heals all wounds, it’s what we DO in that time that will help us heal. We must seek God, study His Word, pray without ceasing, etc. … Keep growing beautiful and thank you for sharing. ❣️

I’m 28 and I definitely can resonate with feeling like I wish I would’ve gotten closer to God sooner. The things that I would have been shielded and protected from… but I’m glad you’ve reached a point of embracing the healing process and all that he has to show you. So much of what you said will make the next decade fruitful for you 🤍
