The Gilgamesh trials was a pain for me you got to redo the fights again the summons but two of them at the same time.

First time Odin/Alexander is mighty impressive.

A big downside to going solo is that you lose all synergy abilities - you would need to sacrifice your accessory to start the battle already at limit level 2 or 3 if those abilities were part of the build.. I think that just adds to the challenge of solo combat.
