@@sampsakeranen7069 it depends on what you’re going for. Metallic paints are great don’t get me wrong I use them all the time and am a big fan but the NNM especially the one shown here looks different to these paints and almost has its own style. If you look at the shoulder pad trim on the model before maverick strips the paint and paints it himself that is a metallic paint

Every Upload is clean and efficent. I highly rate that as a german 😂❤

Total painting time, 4 hours and 30 minutes. Now do it a thousand times... gods I hated painting my armies.

Fuck i really need to get myself an airbush and some contrast paints, Also skill.. i need to get some of that skill stuff

Love it. This past couple months I've been obsessing over the 40k novels, playing the boltgun and Mechanicus games. So now, I really want to buy my first combat patrol box set. The $120 box league of Votann. But I am pretty anxious about painting my miniatures when I finally get them...I just want them to come out good. Love so much of these paintings online.

Take it from a veteran who's painted several armies (Thousand Sons, Chaos Knights, Daemons, Custodes), you'll benefit extremely from painting some practice models first. Get some cheap D&D or historical models from a game store, and just put paint on them to get a feel for the process. Your first few models are going to look terrible, guaranteed, but it's actually super fun and mentally freeing to paint models you don't care about (and didn't spend ~10 bucks per guy on).

I still cant decide if its his paintig or the edits that I love more. Best of both over here though. That much is obvious. White highlights on metalic looks SO good.

First that bit where it built itself was satisfying. Second that is an absolutely stunning paint job.

I just got leviathan as well. plus, a dude at the shop just gave me his infernus squad, sterngaurd squad, lone wolf operative( that's what I call him I don't care) with the combi weapon a knifes, and ballistus dreadnought. FOR FREE. I love it.

I thought this was a giga chad Lamenters terminator until I saw that transfer sheet.

This definitely makes me want to try out painting minis, I have only done gundams so far

Any advice on that split second of mixing the paint in the bottle like that? I'd like to know, I'm sure others would too.
