I always think it's funny how Jay is just casually one of the best mini painters on the planet. No big fanfare, just all skill.

That is seriously one of the best paint jobs I've ever seen on a mortarion. If you take what you have and just polish a few dozen hours, that's golden demon material.

Your paint jobs with this army make me feel a deep NEED and desire to be a bolder painter when it comes to color choices. Simply stunning.

My favorite part about this paint job is the juxtaposition between all of the colors and the drab cloaks. It’s as though his cloaks aren’t actually there but instead they’re clouds of spores that have surrounded him to form something resembling clothing.

You could have had Morty two years ago, but he wouldn't be this. Think of all the work you've put in during that time, all the other awesome models you've painted and techniques you've tried. Not a moment of it wasted and now Morty is an incredible milestone on this leg of your hobby journey!

Mortarion is, without hyperbole, the single greatest model in all of 40k. Nothing else comes close.

The armor is fantastic. Everyone makes it super drab and gross (Which I do love) but the corroded, patina copper look you went with is incredible in it's own right.
