A friend has the 1700mm version it flies real nice selling it for $300 tempting

Thanks! I believe that E-flite has one.

With its wide and squat landing gear, taking off and landing is not the headache of some warbirds. It is heavy, 8+#'s but u do not seem to notice that in flight. Love mine

As always great job Gary! I've had this one for a year or so, added a custom paint job similar to COL Neal Kirby's aircraft. Extremely solid flyer especially when flown above 40-50% throttle as you demonstrated. I had 2 of the 1700mm FMS P-47's back in the day however they got the handling and performance spot on with this one.

nice flight i just got mine put together today dont know the flap settings i set it up at -100 0 and +65 do u remember what your flap settings are?

Just thought about this.. ever consider an anti-aircraft Nerf Cannon? Might add a little something to all these war plane flights. Don't know if they have anything like that or not, might not work good, or like one might think.

Yes you can! You might need to put it in without the battery tray. I would use some velcro or something for restraint. And definitely no extended inverted flights. LOL

Got one at a fire sale at over 40-% off. No plans yet to fly. Can you recommend a smaller war bird to fly to develop my war bird skills before putting this one in the air?
