Yeah we use a lot of salt in the winter, on sidewalks, roads, etc. In fact last week some cities ran out of salt (they didn't have anymore)!

just after finished this video I found my self noted 15 new vocabularies on my notepad "yesterday in downtown i locked my bike with bick rack on the side walks near of store fronts i mean drug store, i sat down on the park bench front of alley I noticed the snowplows starts cleaning the the snow, the streetlights were decoreted as the hydrant with some flowers also the crubs were painted with red coloré Thanks Man

Fire hydrants are a place where firefighters can come with their fire trucks if there is a fire in order to fight the fire. That's a lot of fire :D

I love this channel . So natural way to learn english local terms that we miss in regular english learning book.

It was just early on a weekend morning, so a lot of people sleeping in. Also when it is winter many people stay inside more. I will go back in the summer and give you a better sense of how busy it is when all the tourists are there.
