Matt Christman probably has five hours of audio on the subject but it boils down to the only way you don't get the modern south of today is if the north of reconstruction was significantly nastier then I turned out to be and Lincoln not being at rhe helm of it and his party being in complete disarray at the time was a major reason why it went the way it did
