Nora, wish you put out more frequent videos on your channel. You have such a fun, unique approach to your choice of fabric, it is such a joy to see what you will end up using.
Nice job on this quilt! And you finished a UFO!
This is my kinda quilt!!! I love how your creative mind works and Always enjoy every video. 😊❤
This turned out very sweet! You might want to check with the charity you’re donating to… some require a double fold binding as it doesn’t wear through as quickly. And some require machine stitched bindings. Doesn’t hurt to check 💚
Wow, that is a beauty👏👏👏 What a wonderful finish for a wonderful cause!🥰 ❤️😀
There is a placemat video on KZread that shows an excellent method for the fold over binding, great corners!!! It’s my go-to method!! 🧵🧵
I always do the backing in flannel, for my baby quilts. I also, personally, do not like “all over” quilting. I mostly do “stitch in the ditch” with maybe a few “flair”. I want my fabric pattern to be the “star”. I don’t want my quilting to detract from the fabrics & pattern. This quilt turned out absolutely amazing! Love it! Thanks for sharing with us!
Love the way this quilt turned out. I made a baby quilt using the same design you have in the center. your designs are always so creative.
I loved the center but the additional fabrics really make it better. Thanks for sharing!!
It turned out great! Glad you finished it.
Love the colors, fabrics, and all!
I love a two print border, I do it all the time.
This quilt turned out to be so pretty. What a nice gift it will make. Happy quilting……………….
Beautiful quilt! Love the controlled scrappiness. I do all my bindings for charity quilts with the larger backing and foldover method. Happy Sewing from a friend in Maryland!
Nice quilt. So when flipping the back to the front there is a nice little fold up can do to make rhe look of a mitered corner. Hard to explain, maybe look for a KZread video. Basically u come to a corner, u fold and turn to the top and clip it. Then next side, u take rhe top corner and fold it to the right so the edge is against rhe quilt edge, and it makes a triangle on the left edge if thst binding, then u fold back in half like u were doing, then roll over the edge, and u will have rhe look of a mitered corner. Hopefully u can find or have someone show u, as it is quite simple and looks very nice. so rhe mitered corner, u only really need to fold thst one edge, and it gives rhe mitered corner look.
End product is very aesthetically pleasing Nora! Thank you for donating to such a great and needed cause!💕🧵
I like it. Always love seeing your creations ❤😁
Your quilt turned out so pretty!
When I watch your process, I often am reluctant of the result. However, you often pull it off. Good job.
Beautiful - love the fabric and all the elements of nature~!
Love me some greens...very nice quilt
It came out BEAUTIFUL! 😍 Thank you for sharing. 😊🌹🦋
Well done finishing a long lost start.
Love it
Thanks for sharing your process.
I love it❤
The quilt turned out very nicely.
I use masking tape to make my stitching lines. I sew on either side and then move the tape over for as long as it lasts then use another piece. It’s been a game changer for me! No marking lines !
