Thank you for reacting to this. He originally wrote this song while in prison before forming Falling in Reverse. I like the reimagined version more myself. Fits the vibe of the lyrics more and his passion and pain in his singing I can feel hitting really deep into my soul.

The lead guitarist here is Jacky Vincent. He isn't the one that passed. That was the rhythm guitarist, Derek Jones who is also in the first video. Jacky left ( think in 2015) to pursue solo projects. Wow, you spotted the piano solo being the guitar solo! :) The courtroom might look familiar (although it was quite a different scene in popular monster). Do you agree that "I can't believe I'm meant to be here" seems to have a different meaning in the two versions? First one seems like being in trouble and jail, and like you said the second one sounds like meant to be on this earth. The way I heard it, he wrote this in prison looking in the mirror so that might even give things a little different interpretation. I really enjoyed your reaction. Insightful. Thank you!

I do agree that, in the two versions , they can be interpreted differently. amazing that with just saying the same words in a different way can give the words completely different meanings. thank you for letting us know all of this interesting information. also I thought that courtroom set looked familiar.

The guitarist doing the solo is Jacky Vincent who isn’t in the bad anymore but still good friends with them. Derek Jones was the rhythm guitarist who passed away.

Both versions of this song just hit different than anything else, the original feels like it’s talking about escaping an abusive relationship, and the remake feels like a deep introspective search to find why we’re even here at all, but yea the abusive relationship to a point as well.

If you like rock with some opera then if you have never seen Nightwish I would highly recommend them. A great first song for them is Ghost Love Score live at Wacken (with the w pronounced with a v sound) 2013. The band is amazing and the vocalist is something truly special. She makes people feel something most vocalists only dream of. They have a very large following. If you want more views that song would bring lots of eyes to your channel. Hope your channel keeps growing. You seem like you're a honest and down to earth couple.

The song isn't about a woman it's about Ronnie self reflecting. He is basically saying the drug in him is himself he's sabotaging himself he is his own worst enemy

The two different styles gives off different impressions of those lyrics. it's one of the things We love about the two versions.

I know. the whole song is a build up of emotion that he finally releases in the last moments of the song. takes my breath away.

Jackie Vincent is awesome , i soo miss his riffs in FIR , U should deff check out his solo work if u are a guitar fan ( He left in 2015 on good trems too pursue a solo career )

Also, Ronnie said himself, part of the style was an homage to motley style, snd I frikkin love it as a ‘bitch of the 80’s’😂 this style, video, music, lyrics snd holly Kelly yeah the band is raging awesome!💋💋💋💋 chefs kissssssss!!!!
