This song hits 2 different ways depending on which version you listen too which is insane considering they have the exact same lyrics Ronnie is insanely talented

To me this is the music that the lyrics were written for. So powerful and emotional.

He does play piano. I think he said someone did the piano arrangement, but that’s him playing, and it’s the same chords as the guitar from the other one. I love this version so much. I tear up every time. The lyrics never seemed to match up with the tempo and visuals of the original one. I definitely recommend Champion next! As always, love your reactions!

Ronnie is self taught on piano, he learned piano and guitar in his first band in high school. His mother was not in his life and I have never heard anything about his dad being a musician either. Sean Rooney composed the piano piece for Ronnie to play this version but the notes of the solo are the original.

Wonder how many people have gone back to this video (oringial) this year, and thought "huh. That courtroom looks familiar...." 😉😉😉 I heard the original way back when, and honestly I totally forgot I had heard it. Heard Reimagined, and I thought "yo fr... wtf... I know this song..." IMO original is good... but Reimagined is a total fucking masterpiece. No one will ever change my mind. Ronnie made a song that was perfect in every sense of the word. Absolutely beautiful I gotta comment sorry lol. "Oh those violins :-o " Me: cello... cello... cello... cello... cello... The woes of growing up listening to mostly classical (and classic rock i.e. the Beatles, mamas and the papas, etc.)

It's so interesting how the style of music changes the way you feel and understand the lyrics.

I'm so glad you did this the way we suggested it. Loved your reaction! I only "discovered " FiR this year myself, so all songs have been new to me as well. I like the old version, but only because I already liked the band, when hearing it. If it had been the first Falling in Reverse song I would have listened to, I probably wouldn't have given the band a second thought. The new version is one of my all time favorite songs. I'm pretty sure I'll still enjoy hearing it decades later. The others suggested "Champion" next, and because it would have been on my list of suggestions as well, I'll support it. And I'd really would love to see you react to one of Ronnie's solo rap songs (Devil, Fair Weather Fans or Never The Same for example). Greetings from Germany!

Little late the reaction, but a random fun fact, I was watching a video of Ronnie reacting to someones reaction to the song popular monster and the courtroom scene at the beginning of popular monster is the same courtroom they used In the drug in me is you he was saying how it represents how hes moving on with from that portion of his life and he's killed that version of himself something along those lines it's pretty dope to tie in all those years later!

I've been waiting for a reactor to notice Ryan licking his drumstick in the 1st one for aaaages, its one of my fave sneaky parts of the video😁

Fun fact this video is the first one he did since being released from prison and he was very self conscious of his voice because he wasn't allowed to song in prison so he hated his voice in this song. He always made fun of himself when he sings reverberates in the beginning of this song

Ronnie lived his life with earlier hurdles - he had that soul in there - just took more time to get there - he is quite glorious in his talent. This makes me cry to the core every time. It might just be me but all the emo stuff with girl bait didn't match with the lyrics. This is what he was meant to do. He works his vocals so well. He puts so much emotion in but pulls so much out.
