I absolutely love that you basically have every "gate" land in your deck.

This is a pretty cool deck! I never really looked into after math so it’s nice to see what it has to offer

As someone who loves the Gate lands I love the inclusion of them in this deck. Been thinking about building Niv-Mizzet, Supreme, but didn’t really have a good base to go off of, haven’t played much spellslinger decks, but this gave me a great jumping point thank you good sir.

I had tried this deck and the lands came in so slow for the table I was playing with, so I had to adjust and add in amulet of Vigor to ensure they do not come in tapped. Will have to eventually swap all the lands to make faster lands.

Yeah, that's the problem with a budget mana base. I've posted non-budget mana bases before (like $200-300) and people complained that it was a cEDH list.

Strange coincidence that I just bought NM-Supreme from an LGS yesterday...

I wanted to run a discarding deck with rona and bunch without found something convincing in this colors. Thanks to you i got a good base and just need to do my own recipe with a discard Niv-Mizzet

This is a really cool deck. Budget, strong, and best of all very thematic with all the guild gates. I really want to make a niv-mizzet madness deck but not sure if I like the theme enough

I'm planning on making a flashback spellslinger deck with niv mizzet supreme because you can use flashback cards as your discard fuel for jump starts. I was looking for some insight on what I can throw in to synergize with it. This was helpful.

I love this deck idea! it's weird to see a control deck in commander that's not stax or counter city

I've been looking for a fun spellslinger and I think niv Supreme is the guy for me!

I'm working on a deck for this commander. The plan is to go wide with tokens in a spellslinger shell. No idea if it'll work well or not, but it's certainly interesting. Any thoughts on Sphinx-Bone Wand as a payoff? I wish it cost three less generic mana, but it seems strong if a game is going long.

It works. I also love using Aria of Flame. Though, to be fair, it works best in Feather.

@@commanderbydaenen I was asking about help with my Veyran deck. I’m struggling to focus on spell slinging. I really want to use aria of flame as the damage enabler. I have 46 combined instants and sorceries but I feel it’s inconsistent.

@@27tedd I've had that problem before. How many of your instants and sorceries draw you more than one card? Not just wheel effects, but cards like Thirst for Discovery or Behold the Multiverse? Cantrips are great for closing out the game, but you want to be able to draw through your deck. I've been messed up too many times to count casting 4 cantrips in a row and drawing 4 lands, so I wasn't able to close out the game.

@@commanderbydaenen I have one that actually draws 2 cards the rest are on card or draw and discard or look at 3 and pick one. How many would you suggest. I have it build around Aria of Flame and Aerherflux reservoir. Does that make sense?

@@27tedd SO what you're wanting to do is cast a ton of spells every turn. I'd recommend adding 5 or so Rituals as well as about 15 cards that draw 2 or more cards per turn. You can supplement it with 10-12 cantrips, and then cut 5-6 lands to help make room. I'd also run as many cost reducers as you can afford in the deck.
