hi, thanks for the video. I think my RTX 3070 ti has a problem. After I saw this video, indeed the normal temperature of this GPU is 70-80 oC. So far I've been playing games with ultra settings, RTX high, (I live in a tropical country and my room is not air conditioned) and always get a temperature of 70 oC.

I suggest you watch professional video that explaining about undervolted and understand how its works first before you wanted to try. Videos can be from linus tech tips, jaytwocents or gamers nexus and etc. Hope this help. I believe each system and card will be stable on different voltage and frequency. Meaning you have the same card with same setting, its won't 100% guarentee works on your system too, it might crash, have to do testing one by one use gpu stress software like Benchmark Unigine software. Again i will not be responsible for any consequences you may get when trying to undervolted your video card. Proceed at your own risk.

kindly provide steps as to how this card can be underclocked. i have never done anything like this but would like to reduce some temps off my card

My card is working fine in blender, Photoshop but when it comes to gaming I got a lot of crashes in Valhalla, a couple in divinity 2. When I underclock the gpu the crashes are way more rare that without the underclock.

It's mean the current underclock setting that you use is not the stable one, can either tune up or down the voltage, and test again. Its took me several different setting, until i found the stable one.

Is it okay that on your card default GPU clock is 1800 - 1900 and more, but on the official ZOTAC website it should be 1770 MHz?

Yes its fine, it's all a bonus of sorts depending on power and temp conditions. They are just guaranteeing the 1770 at normalized gaming temps after card has warmed up when being fully utilized.

That's a hot card mine runs around 77-80 and it's overvolted and over clocked

Hi, how is the card doing, did you have any issues on it after several months now? Mine just arrived today, its 3070ti trinity OC and your video is the only helpful review I found. I got it for 865€ so hopefully it would last me atleast 6 years on stock like my current msi gtx970 is doing right now.

@@klianggamingchannel Thank you, the gpu is amazing so far. Im playing lost ark which is not gpu hungry but utilize only around 74% of resource and temp is only 58-60°C at max settings. The gpu is very quiet so far, the only sound I hear is from the arctic freezer ii aio which is also quiet. Also the gpu fan is off when the temp is low, its amazing. The only blunder I did today was registering the product for the 5 year warranty but selecting the wrong SKU so I have sent them an email if I can fix it to avoid problems in the future oh and the rgb doesnt sync with msi mystic light compared to the rest of the components 😅

How did you change the voltage based on mv and not % on the MSI Afterburner settings? I can only change it by % not mv. And is clock the same as memory clock? I can't seem to make it go beyond 1500Mhz

On Afterburner interface, adjust in Core Clock(MHz) column ---> click on "graph icon" on the left ---> a graph window will pop up (Voltage/Frequency curve editor) ---> type "-250" on Core Clock(MHz) column on Afterburner interface (not the graph window) ---> press "Enter" ---> Adjust voltage and frequency that you desire ( in the graph window) ---> click "Tick" to apply the setting (Afterburner interface). Hope this helps!

Hi I have the same card and I would also like to do undervolting. It is enough to copy the clock settings in msi afterburner or do I have to test different configurations on my card myself (unfortunately I don't know how to do it).

I changed core clock, Voltage and Clock speed, Fans speed i leave it auto.

Thanks for the vid, nice work! I noticed your FPS in some of these games is less than what other benchmarks have, any idea if you have a bottleneck somehow? if you discovered something after all those months. Your GPU utilization appears low in several games, which is worrying a little bit

I sacrifice some FPS to lower the temperature and maintain the consistency of my clockspeed which is save some power too, as long as not lower than 60fps, thats is fine to me. Thanks man! I glad you like the video!

925mv is the best spot right? i'll try to set core clock to fit with that.

this undervolt setting shouldn't affect your framerate, try adjust your in-game settings and see how is it.

This video is test on Non-OC version, Your current undervolting setting is not stable, can try either tune up or down the voltage, and test again. Its took me several different setting, until i found the stable one. Good luck and enjoy.

The temperature had been tested and pass QC in factory before sold to end-user, all cards in the market are fine. Its has triple fans cooling should be fine than those only dual fans GPU.

@@dreamomega i had this card since end of june, used about 1 month, i quite happy with the performance on 1080p 144hz monitor, but the card is hot, especially on VRAM part, maybe my country temperature is high, my room ambient temperature already 31c above, so card temperature easily going up to 77-81c while gaming. Suggest don't buy if its not MSRP price.

The default max temp i get was 85c, fans speed run at 100% extremely loud, after undervolted, the max temp i get is 70c and the fans speed at 60-70%.
