Looks like one of those Friday off days you have make the guys come in and clean up and organize. Have a rough plan before telling them to report so you know what your wanting before they just fly through the project. This might make them think twice before just dumping and leaving. Somebody on a regular basis needs to measure the reuseable scrap wire, tag it, and organize it. So if somebody needs 30' of 8-3 they can find a piece that works. Also have to get the guy's in the mentality of reusing rather than pulling off new rolls. But they will only do stuff like that if you make it easy for them to do it.

Lock that beer up until the shop is clean 😂

I know the struggle, thats definitely a good sized area for everything, you just need a guy to organized it and train others where everything goes. I still work out of my old boss's garage (small corner with a couple shelves), and now my new garage addition which is a struggle with 2 locations. Im the type that will put organizing at the top priority usually though. Getting ready to rent a 20x40 area here soon and I can't wait to get started lol

We do well when it’s ground zero, then get busy and it seems hard to manage at times…. I agree though. Good luck in your shop!

My last boss had me install a solid pipe flange onto the wall and we hung our wire off it.

Beer in the fridge and filterd water WITH ice?! Shit, if I lived near you, I'd show up begging to sweep the shop floor for day 1 helper rates😂

Have an apprentice use the lable maker to lable all the spots you want whatever keep all your 1" pipe conecters couplings fittings in one spot all your 1/2" in another ect maby use totes or milk crates for romex 12 and 14 10 ect have apprentice organize 1 day a week till everybody puts stuff away better than have him do it one day every 2 weeks just a thought

I throw away so much crap like this every year. I run out of space all the time.

Sounds like you need a ware house guy to organize
