Anything for my BIGGEST fan.

If you just use another BNC jumper cable like you did on the other side, you can bypass the duplexer (and the loss associated with it) completely. You will get this! I found the exchanges nerve-racking and it was hard to remember the callsigns I had just heard. It just takes practice and a lot of failure.

Yes, the exchange is very fast and i still need to get a hang of it. Thank you for the words of encouragement.

This is the best explanation of how this works that I’ve seen yet. I’ve monitored these several times and there’s always something there. This antenna would be great for ISS SSTV passes as well. Thanks for the video my friend, 73 de Gary KC3NHE!

5:03 or you can plug your radio into your computer and set it on duplex and it will monitor the downlink and tx on uplink ....

Thank you, Its been a fun journey and don't let my length on time discourage you. Its a simple thing to setup and take down. You can do this in your back yard. I go to parks and other fun location for the imagery on screen.

@@TankRadio my time concerns are not related to your video, my life gets very hectic from April to October. My suggestion is that if you want to have time to do things you want to do don't retire. I'm so much busier since retirement except winter but now I'll be playing radio in winter.
