Why is all of this necessary? This is not intended as a snarky question or trolling. I honestly want to know what's going on here and why.

  • @TankRadio

this is done for bonding the ham and antenna group to the house ground. Since it was a long ways to connect the antenna ground to the house ground, you need to run more grounding rods. THIS will prevent a grounding loop across the long ground wire connecting the systems together

If a GMRS license does not require an FRN number, how does one one get a license? The form asks for the FRN license number.

You might have to come over for a drive in South Australia one Day, It spreads across 611,107 square miles, Its land border is 1979 miles and coastline 3148 miles. South Australia is almost the same size as Egypt, one and a half times bigger than Texas, and five times the size of the UK and South Australia is not our biggest State. We also only have 1.881 million people in South Australia, so a bit less traffic 🙂

That was the most convoluted BS I've seen in quite a while! Took me about an hour, with your help, to jump through all those hoops. I love how at one point you have to wait for an email....and it says it may take up to 4, FOUR hours to receive it🤨They should have paid me $35 do do all that. Thanks for your help, Frank. Cheers from Fort Worth
