🔸 Solving Your Problems - Many people are uncomfortable with making decisions to solve a problem. They would rather ask another person how to solve it, so it keeps responsibility off their plate. When approached about what decision someone should make, engage in conversation trying to help but don't do it for them. Ask what they want to do, push the conversation. See if they can come up with a solution with your help, not the answer.
🔸 Build a culture, not a company - If you work on your department or departments depending on what is under your umbrella, work on the culture of the people you hire and work with. Building your team from the inside and making a strong culture will ensure success.
🔸 Slow down to go Fast - Sometimes it is unavoidable, you have to make some fast decisions, but not always. When opportunity presents itself, slow down, think the situation through , look at pros and cons, research, ask others for input, do all you can to make a good decision that you will not have to go backwards on to fix because it was rushed and not thought through as it should.
Slow down to get it right then you can go fast in the execution.
