This is a Dutch vocabulary lesson in a series of 40 videos, with each video lesson containing 25 Dutch words, a course with the goal to speak Dutch, developed by Bart de Pau "1000 most common words in Dutch".
The Dutch course (cursus Nederlands NT2) is aimed at beginners, who want to learn Dutch vocabulary fast. Of each word, you see the Dutch word and the English translation, and a picture. For learning Dutch pronunciation, each word is repeated twice.
Best way to study the Dutch language lessson is:
- watch the video 1 or 2 times
- study the word list www.learndutch.org/online-dutc...
- do the test; repeat it if you made mistakes
- no mistakes in the test - then go to the next lesson
This is a free course. Bart de Pau is an online Dutch Tutor at learndutch.org and program manager at the Dutch Summer School, www.dutchsummerschool.nl (Intensive Dutch courses in Amsterdam and Drenthe during July and August).
This course deals only with vocabulary. Learning a language is more than that!

Dank je wel, Bart. ik vind die videos echt nuttig. Ik ben duitser en leer nu nederlands enkele maanden intensief. Met alle respect voor de mensen en de taal, heb ik het gevoel dat nederlans makkelijk voor duitse is zodat de vocabulaar voor mij heel belangrijk is om de taal te praten.

Ik heb vier landen. In Cuba and Ireland, I saw pigeon races. No idea about Britain because I left long ago, and haven´t seen it in Spain, but I think it´s probably a common activity in most places. Thanks for your great lessons!

Is there a vocabulary sheet for lessons 21-40?
Owning and racing pigeons was popular 100 years ago in Brooklyn, one of the five boroughs on New Your City (originally New Amsterdam), but it has fallen out of favor.

Hallo Bart. In mijn land keren de fusen jaarlijk naar deselfde missie-gebauw terug. Zo doen zij in de stad waar ik als jongen vroeger gewont heb: San Juan Capistrano, Californië. Doei en dankjewel voor de lesen, Baeggel. Ik do erst de vrije lesen. Dan do ik tweed de grammatische lesen. Ik ben blij om de grammatika te leren te beginnen. Ik moet weten hoe gelijkaardig zij met het duits is. Tot nu schijnen de Taalen bijna deselfde structuur te hebben.

Wat de duiven betreft, weet ik pas dat in Hongarije er de “Hongaarse Postduif Sportfederatie” bestaat, die vele nationale competities organiseert en op vele internationale competities deelneemt. Ik denk dat dergelijke er ook in Italië is. Zijn deze iets dergelijks?
How can people know if is their own "duif" in the competition? :P LOl btw in my country we have fight of "de haan" but that is illegal .

Ik wil deze video met Turkse ondertitel kijken. Ik heb eerste twintig video met Turkse ondertitel gekeken. Maar nu ik kan niet kijken. Helpen aub.
The list of animals on LearnDutch.org does not match the animals shown in your video. The list does not include several farm animals. It does include several insects. Not a big deal. My grandsons in Amsterdam can teach me the animal names.
