Lesson 2 learning old time harmonica
Музыка
another lesson for the beginner wanting to learn the old style of harmonica playing.
When I said no one gives me harmonicas, I meant I am not given anything as a paid endorser of a particular harmonica or service. i have been given harmonicas as a gift from friends.

This is exactly the style of harmonica I have been trying to learn! I've managed to figure some stuff out by myself, but this was very helpful!

Bravo mister for very nice pleing vith mauth harmonica. Veliki pozdtav..

Hvala vam puno na slušanju i komentaru. Thank you very much for listening and commenting.
Great videos sir! Are you using the tip of your tongue or curling it forward and using the top?
@1seesaw2

Good question. I use the tip and sometimes curl it forward just a bit depending on the embouchure and sound I want. Either is fine. Whichever works best for you and is more comfortable for you.
So, that tadada tadada thing is that rythmn? Just fast? Wow. Thanks for giving me something to practice. I really appreciate it

Hi Walt. Yep, that's the rhythm and yes after you get it down slow then you can start speeding it up and using it in songs you play. I'm more than glad to help you in any way I can. This old style is dying out and we need more players learning it to pass it on.

@@1seesaw2 I started playing harmonica when I was five. The book, I got with the harmonica, only taught me the pucker embouchure, but I did learn all the songs. So now, I'm trying to get the hang of tongue blocking. Do you remember if thats the original way a harmonica is meant to be played?

@@waltseher7115 Hi Walt. Yes it was originally meant to be played in the style of chording along with playing the melody.
