Hi Karl. Here's the names in order of play: Sweet Evalina, When My Blue Moon Turns to Gold Again, Let Me Call You Sweetheart, Wreck of the Old 97, Wabash Cannonball, Leaving on the New River Train, Dad tried Wagner, but didnt' have the air for it. There's an Old Spinning Wheel in the Parlor.

@@1seesaw2 thanks for the reply! I'm currently searching for a fitting harmonica as my first one, and I am thinking about getting the hohner marine band deluxe. I'm just unsure about the key, since most people say you should start with C. I will mainly use it to play german folk songs.

@@dolguldur1833 The marine band deluxe is a fine harmonica. If you are planning on taking lessons then a C would be the key you would want since most lesson require a C, but if that is not the case I would recommend a G for the music you wanting to play.

I'm over in Europe but have a big interest in US history, and I found my old marine band just today. I'm going through your videos enjoying these songs and looking to pick up something as to how you play the way you do. To me it sounds very old school authentic. Thank you good sir! It has been passed down from my great great Grandfather who taught his grandson, who in turn taught my Father and two Uncles who in turn taught me. I started learning when I was 10. I am now 76. I’m 66 been playing since 5 years old want to learn old style have tried on and off for a few years with your videos I’ll give it another go but it’s real hard after playing straight harp for years find the breathing hard to keep up appreciate the lessons James casement

HI James. About all my playing is straight harp, versus cross harp and slant harp, but I put the rhythm chords to the melody. These lessons hopefully will help folks learn the old style. I started when I was 10 learning from my Grandfather, Father and two Uncles. I'm now 76 and still playing and yes sometimes breath control can be challenging. Maybe I should do a lesson on that.
