They stopped making it in 2012. It might have the name, but it isn't star wars.

Yup I got my 20th century 9 disc box set. The Genndy Tarkowsky Clone Wars shorts on DVD, Rogue One and Solo. I have the Kenobi steelbook, yet have stopped watching as of the 3th of June because all the Hate made me so frustrated. So I have for the time being stepped back.

This will take time but there is so much retro media to catch up to so we will eventually send "the message".

Doucheney may own the IP, but that doesn't let them tell US what is, or isn't, canon. They WISH they could declare the OT as NOT canon and it will be truly laughable when they finally try to do it! 😂

The worst thing is the script. Nothing the characters do makes any sense and energy time they talk it's like middle school drama club !! The arrogance of Leslye Headline thinking she's a screenwriter when she doesn't even know or care about the history of the Star Wars franchise !! 👺

There is no way anyone can discover Star Wars nowadays. All the shows are hidden behind a Disney+ streaming paywall. There are no toys or other Star Wars tie-in products. Star Wars just doesn't exist any more.

Disney blows money on bad investments like people use toilet paper after eating a Taco Bell breakfast.

They CANNOT be honest about this at all. If these "people" actually admitted the truth, which we pretty much already know, the world population would be very unhappy to say the least. Unhappy people, understatement, tend to take corrective action.

Now it’s “Certified Fresh”. Rotten Tomatoes is a “Certified Joke”.

That’s Disney, takes something you love and makes it so you can’t stand the sight of it

Somebody with a sound mind needs to take Star Wars away from Disney, clearly they cannot do right with this IP.

To break even 9 million Disney+ accounts must have seen 6 episodes of 'The Acolyte' exclusively. That's breaking even with the production cost of US$ 180 million. It's as simple as that.

I think it's funny with the viewership being so low how many people is she really reaching. Her total fan base is probably the people watching it so they can give a honest review about how shity it is ,which is more exciting than watching it

She must want cheese cries with her whine burger. Also, if she makes season 2. I'll never watch.

More like 1977-2012. It was dead long before this show came out.

Disney Star Wars lost me two episodes into Asohka... but I was sucked into the Acolyte Drama when a woke shill posted a really nasty meme about how awful Star Wars Theory was and it hit my feed and I was all "Whoah, uncool." and starting researching it. Oh the rabbit hole. Leslye Headland could have stayed quiet and her show would have just failed, but instead she opened her mouth and got every fan's (well earned) ire.

i tried to watch ep 6 out of sheer morbid curiosity and failed about 8 minutes in. The dialogue is completely atrocious. Leslie Headland could easily have created a better show post lobotomy.

Fan of old Star wars hate this new stuff and won't watch it..
