Ty's fabrication and wielding is pure art. The "Man" does phenomenal work. Garrett can thank his lucky stars the day that he came onboard. Well done Ty.
This man is recreating the lines of Leroy by feel and Its coming out better than anyone could have planned. It's seriously and understatement that he is a master at his craft.
This project with Leroy is really letting ty show some more of what he's capable of when he doesn't have such a short leash and tight time frame.. I literally cannot wait to see him let off the clutch for the first time with the new four Link set up and rear end... Let's go!!
Such an amazing team. Always doing great things and always positive about everything. Tye definitely needs a really nice present Cleet. DON'T EVER LOSE THIS MAN!!!!
You all are having way too much fun, If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. Love watching life evolve for the whole team!!
There needs to be one hell of an epic return of Leroy video. Music, fire, all that lol. Looking forward to seeing him back up and running. Looking good!
I'm just going to say what everybody already knows, Tye is a freakin beast! It is absolutely amazing to see talent like that in a young Man. Imagine what he will be like in another 15 or 20 years! What a race team!!
Yeah I’d imagine to keep a race car to track straight at 200mph it takes time to quadruple check for square. I always appreciated what these frame builders are able to accomplish 🤘🏻Dale would be proud 🥹
I'm 53 and have always had a huge interest in drag race suspension systems! I've seen them evolve over the years. Back in the 80s a "big tire" car was all the rage even if you were building a fairground cruiser, lol. Chris Alston puts out a 4 link kit and sets the world on fire. Others were doing similar, it's just that the Alston "kit" seemed like the most popular buzz word at the time. I've been around and wrenched home built cars and been around "pro built" cars too, such as Jerry Haas built chassis, very popular in the 90s and beyond. I've never been the go to 4 link guy by any means, but have constantly tried to learn the basics. Then from there I've tried to expand on knowledge from that basic level. Shocks and coil over rear suspension and coil over shocks seem so simple in design, and they are. However where they are put, choosing the proper setup for the application, then getting them dialed in is a very important part of race car design and set up. Once everything is dialed in from a build standpoint then adjustability tweaks for track conditions can be very satisfying instead of a nightmare! When it comes to the dial in, you know you are on the right track when one single change makes a measurable difference even if it's for better or worse. That means you are "in the ballpark". The reason for all this carrying on in my comment is for wanting to commend Ty for his enthusiasm and knowledge on this very important and often misunderstood part of a serious drag race car, especially one that sees regular street duty as well! This young man is going places! Could be wrong but pretty sure Ty mentioned these 4 link brackets as coming from Tin Soldier. Even if I'm wrong on that detail that company keeps coming up often here lately on youtube circles for fast street strip drag race suspension and their channel and info are worth your time to check out! For me it's kinda refreshing watching all of y'all really getting down to "basics" as well as modern thoughts and proven details that work in regards to the classic 4 Link suspension!
To go from what this car was when you picked it up to seeing Ty’s fabricating vision materialize in the shop is absolutely mind boggling! That guy is an ABSOLUTE WINNER and he really is an unsung hero in the fab world. Kudos to him and shout out to all of the work you guys are doing behind the scenes to get these race cars ready for action so that the people can get their content. Great stuff!!!
Tye is like the best new addition since James this guy's just gets it done with his welding well done
