I thought Colby was gonna loose tbh but I thought he would put everything on the line like he did with Usman hell in the second fight he got dropped twice and made massive mid fight adjustments and almost came back and won it. It's a double edged sword. Lesser opponents can't handle trash talk and fight stiff as a result. The better champions usually shake it off, and can even help them focus. With guys like Leon, and GSP it is a better strategy to show humbleness and respect and hope they get complacent in their training

I agree completely. I really like Leon too and appreciate the flawless technique he possesses in his kickboxing. It does seem like he'll only risk going for the finish when he knows he's down like with Usman. I also believe he was trying to grapple to much with Colby to prove a point when a TKO really would've embarrassed him especially in the 5th when Leon already picked him apart for 4 rounds.

Our run D has been getting gashed since 2018 in the Rams playoff game. Last time I seen us with a good run D was the 2016 season. We have a great pass rush and a solid secondary but we are weak at linebacker and DT. Our offense needs to be good enough to keep us in games when our defense struggles like this if we are going to win in the playoffs or it’s going to be another year waiting.

We didn’t really get trucked like this last year except week 1 vs Tampa Bay and week 18 vs Washington when we were getting ready for the playoffs. The Green Bay, Jacksonville and Cooper Rush Philly game were all close winnable games. The SF playoff game was winnable especially if Pollard didn’t get hurt. This season we’ve been trucked 3 times by Arizona, SF and Buffalo. But we still have a chance to finish 13-4 if we can win out. I want us to get Hankins back. If we lost out and finished 10-7 but caught fire and made it past the 2nd round I’d take that over winning out and finishing 13-4 but not being as successful in the playoffs. Everything is about winning in the playoffs.

I like Edward’s not a huge fine of Colby, but he did brake his foot first round and he has the x-rays to prove it. this doesn’t excuse Colby’s behavior but just something to keep in mind.

Go rewatch Izzy vs Romero, it's 10x worse than this fight. This actually had some decent grappling, transitions, and even some decent striking exchanges - just not enough. Izzy vs Romero had absolutely none of that for 5 rounds other than Yoel's counter in round 1...
