Did he stick to it? His first album was 50s and 60s inspired. 2nd and 3rd album had a much more modern flare. I still love his music, but he didn't stick to his original sound. Lol

@@BOOMDIGIDYable Gary Clark was high energy blues when I first heard him. Now he's neo-soul. Just like Leon's first album was way more roots, than the next one. Artists, specifically black ones that don't fit into a "black genre" ,seem to get either get forced into watering down their music or pushed into obscurity. That's not to say that the music isn't good anymore, just dramatically different.

The idea of driving or riding on a motorbike is terrifying to me as a big city dweller, but this song delights me.

Wow I’m truly glad people like the music because that means more happiness. But I don't get it. In my ears, the song sounds like one of the performances that would get stopped before it finished- on one of those idol or got talent shows. Still, the more happiness the better definitely. And because I have grown to greatly enjoy performers that I did not care for at first (like the Avett Bros), wondering if anyone recommends a different song by him or recommends just keep listening. Or fall in love and then listen?)

Leon Bridges is definitely not an energy drain, but some of that 90s Kravitz energy would be amazing. Kravitz still had energy in 2011 (although not like his 90s self), but he’s really mellowed since then.
