I live in Fort Worth... For years and years we'd see Leon all over the place... one place in particular was a rooftop bar they'd sell a cup Tecate beer for a buck... Me and my wife would sit there and watch the skinny kid with these retro clothes singing his songs... maybe six or eight people there... But look at him now what a blessing... go get them Leon show what Fort Worth to do!!

I've known Leon Bridges since the soundcloud days, where he was still a dishwasher and he wrote a song for his mom and it blew the world away. He was the new "wilson picket". And his dream was to be a hip hop singer. Which makes me think hip hop is a dated style perhaps. In 2022, having an excited audience made up of people who have never heard of Wilson Picket or that style of music that is at least 60 years old. And Leon represents this new retro style like nobody else. I love this guy

He was probably trying to preserve his voice as he was on tour in the UK and if I'm not wrong was going straight into an arena tour in the states

He seems to be struggling here, it's four keys lower and he's still flat and not barely projecting. Maybe he lost his voice or was sick

Why does he sound flat and deaf tone?

I was front row in this crowd and I can confirm it’s the mic/audio balancing for TV, in person it was incredible and his tone was perfect.

His voice is so weak. Same issue when he sang with Khruangbin. Awful version of Texas Sun.
