About Austin City Limits
Austin City Limits (ACL) offers viewers unparalleled access to featured acts in an intimate setting that provides a platform for artists to deliver inspired, memorable, full-length performances. Now in its 47th Season, the program is taped live before a concert audience from The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. Austin City Limits is the longest-running music series in television history and remains the only TV series to ever be awarded the National Medal of Arts. Since its inception, the groundbreaking music series has become an institution that’s helped secure Austin’s reputation as the Live Music Capital of the World. The historic KLRU Studio 6A, home to 36 years of ACL concerts, has been designated an official Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Landmark. In 2011, ACL moved to the new venue ACL Live at The Moody Theater in downtown Austin. ACL received a rare institutional Peabody Award for excellence and outstanding achievement in 2012.
Austin City Limits is produced by Austin PBS, KLRU-TV and funding is provided in part by Dell Technologies, Workrise, the Austin Convention Center Department and Cirrus Logic. Additional funding is provided by the Friends of Austin City Limits. Learn more about Austin City Limits, programming and history at acltv.com.

Innovative? I agree that the music is great and the guitar playing is spectacular, but there's not much innovation going on with the drums and bass. Indeed the song structure is a bit unique but the bassists lackluster bass playing is why she utilizes sex appeal as a way to garner attention, unfortunately. What your comment tells me is that you listen to little to no new music outside of the realm of popular songs recommended on KZread or songs on the radio. This music is good but definitely not innovative as there are far more artists whom are less popular and far more creative and nuanced in their creation. Therefore your self implied credential as a "musician/composer/singer" hold no value as you are old and don't have time to listen to things that are new and truly innovative.

@@Natharsus Actually you are just someone that has the same garbage ass "I know more" attitude. This band absolutely kills it. Theres no extra fluff, no blurry or studio added crap. Its basic music but its done right, and done better than all these "so called technical wizards" Tons of bands out there with the same trash sounds and nothing but imitation. Funky and dreamy all at the same time. All 3 on point. Superb.
The wigs are sentient entities that stop all the love and joy from exploding the universe, and the drummer controls them with base 8 subvocal beats, perfectly timed, learned from Tesla when he travelled time. One song at a time, they are reshaping the future into a better one. With compassion, and tenderness.

Incredible woman with an impeccable talent. Still here in 2024.
Feels good to see Khruangbin back on stage and in top form. A truly original and talented group. Thanks for sharing.
I want to see them live again so bad, one of the best days of my life ❤

Can you give them back? 😜
Been following these legends for a while.....the skill and talent involved to pluck those strings never ceases to mesmerize me. From the first time hearing them, there is a quality about their chords that just lay a finger on your soul and then you realise that words are unnecessary and wholly inadequate in comparison to the pure vibration channelled by true artists and masters of their craft like these folks. What a joy it is to drink deeply from this cup.🤗🙏

This song has been played at least 10 times a day for me. Love this song. A serious masterpiece from any band
I think that was some of the coolest music I’ve ever heard.
That bass player! 😍❤️😍❤️
Definitely a unique sound, which in this day and age is really impressive. I've been liking their output for about 4-5 years now. They're not the type band I can listen to a lot, they're a mood band for sure...to me.
I saw this concert Saturday night and this group instantly became my new favorite. I see people are using words to describe their music but I've been avoiding all that and just enjoying it in its purity

I saw them at Stubbs BBQ in Austin about a month ago. My first show since 2019 (which is the longest I've gone without since I was 14, and I'm 45), and Khruangbin played a straight up face-melter. Danced my old ass off, instigated a dance off with all the youngins' around me. It was awesome!

@mojoschmee9320 Love your description! That would have been fun to watch...while I was dancing my OWN old ass off!!!
I can’t convey how much I love these guys. Laura is one of the sexiest women on the planet and the music is so unique.
The perfection is palpable here with these three.
They have a great sound and the bass player has some killer moves.
I love them, best wedding band in the world
sure yall heard it before, drummer got da best seat in the house. with great respect!
I have created more art in the last few months than I have in years listening to Khruangbin, Their artistry speaks deeply to me. Such a groove, such a pocket.
I've been watching Austin City Limits since the eighties... this is one of the best!
All three are doing just enough to produce perfection
Every once in a while a band comes along with true talent, and not only mesmerizes you but takes your breath away.
The guitar seems like it's singing WOW!!!!😮👍👍👍👍👍👍
I just saw a replay of this on WHYY tonight. Such a great vibe. One of the coolest songs I’ve heard in a while.
Drummer's like a human metronome
