Lenovo G570 power button not working | Solved.
This video is tutorial about cleaning or repairing power button of lenovo G570 laptop , as laptop was turning ON only on pressing restore button but was not turning ON by power button i had to disassemble laptop and clean power switch, replacing the power switch will also solve the problem.

Thank you for the lead, mine on a G575 was the ribbon cable you first shorted was actually out of its receiver socket. There is no lock bar on the socket !!
Thanks your vedio. My G570 NB has repaired. I replaced the keypad and power on button card.

Hi. In minute 4:54 I see that you take off a little metal sheet from the power button, but in 6:20 you put two metal sheets in the power button. Were the metal sheets stuck together and was it necessary to take them off to clean them? Thanks. I will try to clean and if not work I wil buy a new button.

Sir ji mere paas Lenovo G510 hai, local shop mein repair karne ko de rakha hai. Unke paas power button theek nahi ho raha hai. Peechle ek week se pata nahi kya kar rahe hai Laptop ke saath.
Sir i having the same laptop with me but it's not powering on when i put my charger it's showing orange light after that orange light turned to white and when i try to power on my device it's not starting up help me with that
Some part of the work cannot be seen, video recording not done well. Adjust the focus of video camera to the working spot
