Lemon Tea Herbs // potting, harvesting & infusing for tea

At Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm, we grow, harvest, dry, distill and infuse over 20 aromatic plants to make the ingredients for our small batch botanical products: www.okanaganlavender.com/
Our Workshop Wednesday series highlights our favourite herbs from the garden and how they can be used to create lovely products with simple ingredients you probably already have on hand at home!
This video is all about fresh, lemony tea herbs that you can find at your local garden centre: lemon verbena, lemongrass and lemon fizz geranium. You'll learn how to transplant your herbs into pots, and harvest and infuse them to make a fresh, herbal tea to soothe stress and anxiety!
We use our farm-grown lemon verbena in our delicious Serenity tea blend: shop.okanaganlavender.com/col...
Our 100% farm-grown Anxiety tea blend is also a wonderful option to help relieve stress: shop.okanaganlavender.com/col...

I love lemon grass tea. Traditionally we also make a spiced buttermilk with lemongrass, cumin and black pepper

@@okanaganlavenderherbfarm1994 Roast the spices a little and then put them in with the lemongrass in a food processor with a little water. Strain the liquid and add to buttermilk. Add salt to taste.
