@@MrDschiesusAccording to wiki he died of a combination of prostrate cancer, cardiac arrhythmia, and congestive heart failure, so all those cigarettes the alcohol and the speed would have definitely contributed to his death by damaging his heart. Even without his prostrate cancer he probably would not have lived into a ripe old age, sadly. I'm sue he also would not have had a very healthy die so that wouldn't have helped either.

Lemmy was my upstairs neighbor for @ 8 years (yes lem lived in an apt but didn’t have to ofc). When my ex wife and I got engaged he was smoking on the balcony. We walked into the courtyard and she held up her ring finger and showed Lemmy. He made the sign of the cross like the pope on the Vatican balcony and said congrats to her. He always liked her better. Lol. RIP Lemmy and thank you Sir #HarrattStreet #WestHollywood #CA

My Mother sometimes sells shrimp about a few blocks from Phil’s house and everytime both he and Kirk come to buy shrimp…Phil pushes his chest out and gives me a look like he wants to take me in a fight…Kirk on the other hand always acknowledges me and refers to me as “Rocker” while giving me a fist pump. Lemmy was more being dramatic because that's all the interviewers ever wanted. Behind the scenes was a different story. He's mocking the interviewer here more than anything. That said, if you ever meet or work an event Dave Grohl/Foo Fighters is attending, you will find he is a massive asshole. It's wild how he has the whole industry (EDIT: Not industry, it's well known he's an asshole. It's the fans) fooled that he is some wholesome, genuine guy. He is an asshole with a capital A. That's why he and Lemmy got along so well. Dave starts shit and then sits back and chuckles while all hell breaks loose. He then comes off smelling like a rose and acting like everyone's friend. Two faced as hell. That's the worst kind of person.

Venom's career is nowhere near as steady and lucrative as Motorhead's (which in turn was nowhere near as lucrative as say, Ozzy's), and at the time of this interview were probably either on a break or turning up halfway down a festival line-up on the second stage, while Motorhead headlined the main one.
