I just came to listen to this song, then I clicked on "don't get me wrong", then "my love, my drug", then I opened up a bottle of wine and went on clicking on every song I found by Leigh Nash (either solo or along with sixpence none the richer). Now here I am, half drunk and with a shit load of work to do...just perfect!

I am huge fan of Stephen and Sixpence. Saw you in Knoxville last month. But just discovered this gem. This is a perfect song. Beautiful. Thank you both.

LOVING THIS! It's a given fact that Leigh's voice is a national treasure/she/you are. Leigh :-) But, let me me the first to post here that those of us who have seen and heard Stephen perform have known he is, or was a dual threat as a guitarist and songwriter. Now, the rest of us, who've been out of the loop, discover he is a fantastic voalist/singer, too. Fantastic job, Leigh and Stephen! Your fan Rob from the Jammin Java in Vienna, VA.

I've had 24 hours to absorb this song after hearing it for the first time ( and of course it's never just one listen with songs I like/enjoy, with artists I like/love/enjoy.). It's a wonderful idea for a song ( the way it comes around, the hook at the end, esp. ), and even though it's like modern day country with it being just modern, and two very lovely instruments being Leigh and Stephen's ( you nailed that classic, country baritone bottom range at times-which ain't easy folks-voices. Frankly, this is a genre that really has been missing for quite some time ( I know music, period, and old school country ). This is an old school country duet, the kind that folks love. ( Perhaps Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell did the last good country duet, but before that, it's been years as far as I know). With the right backing and promotion-hard to come by ( Megan Trainer somehow got an award from out of nowhere, somehow ) this could, and should be a contender for Country Music's Duet of the Year.

Good lyrics and a catchy tune! “I am no angel”… Amen. Who among us are the angels we usually imagine ourselves to be in relationships? And I guarantee everyone reading this that the scenery will eventually change on this bus that we’re riding … and it’s good advice to not act in haste when relationships are strained, as long as no one is being abused. Because real love never was and never will be a feeling. Feelings come and go like breezes through tree branches - here today gone tomorrow. Real love is a commitment. And the realization that the main reason the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence is bc we’re not properly watering and caring for the grass we are standing on.
