My economics professor (very sweet guy) when I was in my last college semester told me through one of our lectures that Lehigh is like a Palm Bay west, and we had a discussion about it and I said there's literally dozens and dozens of these places of Florida that look exactly alike. The south and western end of Palm Bay kinda has a Lehigh feel, there's literally nothing, but now they're building apartments and a Publix and new shopping centers near the southern end because they bought a lot of the last rural property in south Brevard. Really sad to see the situation of Lehigh. It could be a great place if it incorporated. Looks like a gigantic waste of space and resources sadly.

Endless wasteland

One of my cousins lives in Lehigh Acres with her paternal grandmother. They had a septic tank in their previous house. Our aunt, uncle and their two kids lived in two different houses out here. I thought about Lehigh Acres being an option to live. I only been to one of my cousin's previous house and our aunt's first house out here. Our aunt lived far out in the woods on Norfolk Ave.

It don't matter were you live it's the people

I live in Lehigh! and 6 Months ago, a new construction house sold right in front of mine, it sold for like $380K yesterday the house in the rear of mine, was listed for $280K Yes its not a new construction, but it has more Sq.F. than the one that sold for $100K more just 6 months ago, as soon as the new listing sells, there goes the value of the house in front.

You are well spoken. You know about demographics and stuff like that. You have a pretty big following. You should run for a public office.

I live in Lehigh Acres and never ever had an issue don’t understand the dislike it’s really not as bad as you say like any other place it’s got the good and the bad. Love your show but different strokes for different folks it gets old people disliking Lehigh l’m sure Sarasota gots its bad neighbor what you like l might not like you see. I live in Lehigh Acres. I have never had a problem with my internet service. No parks? You drove right past Veterans Park without a single acknowledgment. It’s a beautiful park with a recreation center, covered basketball courts, tennis courts, skate park, and water park. Beautiful grounds that include baseball fields, a pond, and walking trails. We have Walmart, Publix, Winn Dixie, and many other grocery stores. We have Dunkin Donuts, McDonald’s, Burger King, and various ethnic eateries. We have Bealls, and Ace Hardware. There are many small businesses. There is a bowling alley, senior center, and ice cream store. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks you are being unfair in your review of our town.

@@daveassanowicz186 not till today. I can understand that if someone once lived in Lehigh Acres and had to move due to financial hardship there may be a bit of personal resentment towards the area. While the area does have its issues it’s not as bad as how it is described in this video. I forgot to mention the golf courses in Lehigh Acres as well. It’s just not true that there is nothing to do.

Lehigh is so bad. I lived there for 11 years. It's the most boring place to live. Unusual bad Internet. I'm glad I made it out

You lived out in Lehigh for a year😂 I work in the cape and it's so congested and you see a bunch of burnouts everywhere on the side streets so how can you consider Cape Coral being so much better than Lehigh. Yes we have less taxes in Lehigh and less congestion. In a much better place to raise your kids
