LegoWW2, Battle of Rabaul. Pacific theatre. ANZAC "LARK" forces - part 1
Фильм және анимация
Japan Empire vs ANZAC forces in WW2. Battle of Rabaul.
Part 1. "Lark force".
***
The Battle of Rabaul, also known by the Japanese as Operation R, an instigating action of the New Guinea campaign, was fought on the island of New Britain in the Australian Territory of New Guinea, from 23 January into February 1942. It was a strategically significant defeat of Allied forces by Japan in the Pacific campaign of World War II, with the Japanese invasion force quickly overwhelming the small Australian garrison, the majority of which was either killed or captured.

I liked the videos with the professor as a narrator more than the computer/AI voice everybody else is using at the moment ....

Great video, the animation is smooth as always and the ANZAC minifigures look epic... Can't wait for part 2!
Very cool LCM
Dude! This is so good I love the practical effects with the studs. Glad your trying that out it looks great. Also this scene 2:56 oh that’s so good. Can’t wait for part 2
ここまで緻密なドラマを見れたことを日本人として嬉しく思う。
The pacific theatre is a fascinating and quite frankly under studied part of WWII. This was absolutely an amazing production I was seriously getting The Pacific vibes from watching this(The HBO series).
Great video
Your attention to detail in your videos is excellent. Footage is wonderful as is the sound and special effects. Well done man!
Honestly a fantastic animation very smooth, nothing short of quality with every video you post! Well done you deserve 1 million subscribers already!

I have watch a lot of LCM Brickshow’s content, but this one has got to be the best in terms of practical effects, a lot of his animations felt very VFX heavy, but this one has a lot of real, and practical effects, that I loved, keep up the good work, LCM!

great video, smooth animation and nice to see more pacific stop motions :)
I was waiting for one of these videos really good job
This video is so historically correct. I've heard stories of ANZACs throwing them selves over grenades to protect their mates. Such a strong bond between the men. Well done!

Great work once again! I love how every film you just get better and better even though you’re already good. Its nice to see the Australian and New Zealand troops being commended, out of curiosity, when do you plan on making part 4 of Waterloo? This year, next year...
Awesome video, love the action
awescome video and a great new history lesson
Love the mortar scene, its really good. Great to finally see this story portrayed in lego!
Наконец-то патроны начали заканчиваться
I have a question. What brick film should i make when i have 20 ww2 german soldiers and 20 ww2 american soldiers Because i have no idea what to make And nice video btw
awesome video
Great. Just one thing, the landing crafts seems to be copied from the American LCVP model. The Japanese used landing craft manufactured by Daihatsu (Daihatsu-class or 14 m landing craft ) of a different look. Look like armored junk sheep without sails.
Nice video bro
Man such an amazing brick film love the new anzac minfigs too
Gkad to see someone finally using an owrns gun in an anzac animation
Hey LCM may you make a Black Hawk Down recreation like how you Recreated the D-Day scene from Saving Private Ryan after you finish Long Road Home? Also I ask you to make a stop motion about the battle of Pelilu! I don’t think you did that but I must be mistaken.
Great work! Keep up the hard work! Can't wait to see the next one! Also If you know anyone that possibly has those Japanese and also other minifigures can you tell me so then I can buy them?
Just woke up to this

Minor correction: Rabaul is not the name of the island. The island is named New Britain, Rabaul was an administrative division on the island and the name of the major Japanese base there.
Cool, what languages do you know

Great video. The story of Lark Force and Gull Force is not done justice by omitting the torturous fate the Australian captives were subject to. The sadistic beheading party at the hands of the Japanese. Swords swung until they were bent and dull taking multiple swings to sever the neck of the prisoners one by one as they awaited their execution. Truly terrifying. Those poor men would have fought to the death if they knew what was waiting for them as prisoners.
