Great! I use in my Lego trophy truck with brushless motor the carbon axles! Which are very good for high torque 😊

Good try, but it's simply too much power for one axle. What I'd suggest to you is to spread the load, have 4-5 motors power each wheel. Also try to reinforce axles with 2x2 round bricks or such.

The axles are not a problem anymore since they where replaced by metal ones. The sheer weight and poor drivetrain make the buwizz struggle.

Looks like your ripsaw had more power and speed in it. I think it would be better to put the motors horizontally and stright feed to the wheels. With that amount of power 4x4 will be awesome. Wanted to ask you if there is any differences of using those 70 gears or using "knob gear", its looks so similar to me and with less space to spare.

  • @marxpeklegotechnicdesign3

The knob gears broke.. and they have a lot more friction compared to these. And yes power delivery isnt great here, linear/direct is much better yes, but that would never fit in a "compact" design like this. It rarely ran good.. wires would vibrate loose.. and then the horror of troubleshooting that...in the end i expected more from it, but had to call it a day..

Hi marxpek. I wanted to ask you for your opinion please. Since i appreciate you as builder and youtuber leader ( sound dramatic, but is true to me😉) and mostly for hold the last speed record : You know allready my builts and my system that i use, with lipo 7.4v and fake lego receivers. Do you think that if ill make the fastest car , that go on 50, it need to be under other category? Or its goes with the same category with buwizz? Or s- brick ? I love to hear you thoughts about 🙏 Thank you

This would be another category, Lipo's are way more powerfull than any lego/buwizz/sbrick solution. Also be carefull with crashes and lipos. A little puncture will be a unstoppable fire.. If you use a lipo it would be rc grade parts and the lego+rc parts is 86 Km/h i think, but that also uses rc grade motors. the receiver is arguable but acceptable, i think it is similar to the V2 receiver. New category: '99% lego + ONLY Lipo' maybe?

@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 Thanks for your replay maybe... Since lego and i think buwizz too, use that same lipo, i though it will be under the same category. they got other benefits too like possiblity to use 12.5v., range and more- i got on-off remote. I dont use any other external r.c components. Question is if that speed record, is ment to be buwizz only ? Lets say tomarow ill use mold king, cada or s brick- is that will be on the same category? For me the thing that make it other category is mostly esc and r.c.reciver, which i dont have.

@@yuvallegomotorized i see where you you are coming from, and you are sort of right, but it is all down to the rules we set for ourselves, the new buwizz record was done with bw motors and bw3. Mine was lego motors and bw2, is that a separate category/ record? Idk.. i think my buwizz record was broken, albeit by updated hardware it IS the buwizz record. Using offbrand lego is ok-ish i guess, als long as lego makes the part aswell, which is hard to say about the electronics, it comes down to the amperage allowed to pass through the system, a directly switched lipo can provide 30A easily, while buwizz caps at 4.5A or something. Also 7.4v lipo wouldnt do the trick i guess, bw record was on roughly 12v. (Voltage= rmp, amperage= torque) So a 3s would be needed, inceasing the amperage dramatically and possibly burning out the switches.. Just go fast and make a video, let the adience decide what category it is!

@@marxpeklegotechnicdesign3 Thanks man, i got video but not that good. Ill put it now, maybe ill erase it when ill get better one. Lipo got Endless amper - true, but lego receivers, fake or real, can hold 5 amp top. More then that and they burn in sec. So we do about the same capabilities. I got only 42 for now, but it can go more- 50 easly.
