The noodle shop looks so good and makes the beach look so complete. Keep up the good work
The boardwalk looks AMAZING!!!! I love how it looks. I have a small suggestion though: when the boardwalk ends near the surf shop then you have a barrier blocking the boardwalk, I think instead of having a barrier you should have stairs leading down to the beach. I personally think it would look really good and be a nice touch. Anyway Amazing video and keep up the hard work, can’t wait too see the amusement park all finished up!!!

Or make a little opening there in the wall. I love the look of that short wall though; to me that's what pulls the street + beach together and makes it feel more 'real'.
As an idea for those rooftops of the modular buildings u can make it to a rooftop nightclub/lounge. With it being in the beach area I think it'll b a good fit

That's kinda what I thought
Awesome! I just wish you could have had that really cool noodle sign in the front.
I love the noodle shop! Keep up the great work!
Love the noodle shop!! You have the BEST Lego city!!! I feel inspired! 🎉
Now I want to modularize the noodle shop! Great video!
Great city amazing progress and I love that noodle shop
I really like the look of your custom noodle shop using and the techniques you used. I like the stairs going up to the second floor. You should consider posting instructions on rebrickable for other to buy.
You are on a building rampage! Looks great!
The plate layers are totally fine. Looks good!
The beach looks so nice!!!
I love adding a roof deck area! I dont think it would take away from the city if it's just a small roof garden with other small stories ❤️
Yes add rooftop greenery! ❤❤❤
The noodle shop goes really good with your beach
Nice build!
Looks good as always. I agree, the blue toppers on the roof need to be updated. Not sure how, but I see what you mean. I personally like the idea of a garden or something like that. Some beaches have rooftop seating of a mini golf course
Your beach area looks so great!👏👏
You should raise the noodle shop 1 plate on the bottom so the brown plates line correctly
bricksie you can make the roofs able to be par cored on by a minifigure. just as a suggestion. Much love ♥♥
Bricksie I love your videos they’ve inspired me sooo much to do thing to my city like mils and how you do your roads. I even just started making a beach. I wish I could somehow show you my Lego city. And your city is massive. I wish my Lego city could look as good as yours 1 day
the mix of olive bricks at the front then different colours on the side walls is normal in my city for older building where a lot of business will paint the front of the business with new paint but generally leave the side walls natural brick or what ever colour the previous business might have used.
@14:50 It may look a little strange from an overhead view, but it makes total sense from a ground view where you would only see one at a time, on each side.
The noodle shop looks great.
I love this custom build. Very creative.
It looks awesome 🎉
A roof top bar at the beach sounds good.
Some solar panels and a bee hive for the ruff top? Or the Beatles giving their last performance :)
Awesome!
The rooftop areas could have small garden-like areas without being too over busy/filled. Could also add some small utility items (A/C unit, power box) on the roof to add a different detail texture. Loving the mini modular builds! I got two of the noodle shops for a re-brickable model my wife liked (book nook) but now I want to see if I can make my own little modular style building...
Love the noodle shop now .
Love it
Green house on the rooftop! Add some good colors
Wonderful idea creating MOCs from a 3 in 1 base design. Very Inspirational to us novices to try.
You could have a rooftop bar, maybe make a public access staircase as well?
A roof top bar would be amazing!! and accurate because there are so many roof tops bars near the beaches in Australia 😊 As always LOVE the progress with the lego city ❤
I found the Noodleshop on clearance at Walmart today for $22, picked up 3 sets. Now it's time to come up with a MOC.
the second floor should be a surfers appartment, that would be cool
awesome video jordan the noodle shop looks amazing great job
I like what you did with the noodle shop. I still have my two sets to do something with.
I think your beach section and the little walk way in front of the mini modulars looks one of the best I've seen. I usually have so many things I would do differently when I look at people's Lego cities but that kind of beach is what I'd want in my onw Lego city. I would probably add some little stalls selling post cards or something there too. Another suggestion I have that might look pretty cool is to cover that beginning of the darker part of the sand near the water with those smooth slope pieces so it would look quite realistic, since the part of the sand where the waves go over usually is very smooth and shiny.
For the roof you could do a chase scene or a robbery a bit like mission impossible
Awesome job You could add hot tubs to the roofs
These are really nice mini builds you got going on
ohhh man why is this the best modular noodle shop i've seen! i want to build it haha.
love it
Love both alternate builds. Especially the noodle🍜shop. I just might have to use your concept because it's so awesome and easy to place into a city.
Looks great, maybe you could add lifeguard station to the top of the toy shop.
Hey Jordan? Looking really great! Fab job on the noodle shop 🙂👍🏻 Have you ever looked into or considered using a dedicated video light for looking at the smaller models and whilst you’re filming the close up shots? Does depend on what you’re filming on, as I’m unsure if video lights are available for smart phones. If using a dedicated mirrorless camera or video camera, you can easily mount them onto the hot-shoe. Use a small LED type with temperature control if you decide to venture into this. Keep up the brilliant vlogs, we all enjoy them as a family.
You need to make a photoshoot in your city.
That just looks so cool, I like what you did to these sets, they are nice sets but they also are small, I'd like to do something like this one day with mine
You should make minifigs doing parkour across the rooftops
I have the toy store and noodle shop and I love seeing how you doubled them but kept so much of the original designs. I like the rooftop lounge ideas, but not sure if that makes sense with the insides of those buildings. I also kind of like the idea of each rooftop being its own thing, so maybe one building has a lounge and one has a greenhouse/garden.
I think a water tower would be cool on one of those roofs or a larger water tower somewhere else in the city.
Agree 100% on updating the toy store roof and adding to all the roofs overall!
I'd keep the 4 layer but make the very first layer white to match the toy shops trim then the grey from the front and back just looks like 1 tile of grey
Bricksie, you Noedels shop looks nice, but perhaps a arc for the staircase upper wall connection, for the roof support? As for the Toyshop, add a floor, think of how the Toyshop originally looked, in terms of the first floor, but now as a U, by mirroring the option one first floor corner setup. Don't know if option two has anything you could use, for this second floor, but the third option has a roof window and a very nice side window. So if you can figure out the internal layout & it's potential problems, then you could easily give your Toyshop, a second floor. This will give you a /\/OOO\_______ _________ skyline, just needs another staircase, that's walled off and has a door. So keep it in mind, okay? Because I think you would need to hunt for parts, if you would do the above add-on to your Toy-shop. Do suggest showing some Kites, though, both in the shop as well as on the beach.
Looks great! I think the blue pyramids on the roof would work better beside each other, on opposite sides of the front of the roof maybe with a lower connecting roof detail.
Looks great! And I agree completely on some light nougat plate, but it's not a gamebreaker or anything. Also; some colour on the roof would be awesome. Maybe some planters with flowers and vegetables in it; this will add colour, but it won't obstruct the view to the city behind the row.
3pm my time everyday is a good time 😎
Yes giant shared rooftop access.
Rooftop tiki bar w/ an external stair access
Looks sick 😂🥰✌️🇬🇧
The front of the noodle shop just has too much windows it should be less for the rest it’s awesome
Looks good. You might want to use white plates at the top under the roof. That will reduce the gray. It would give you a nice white stripe that might blend better. Just a thought. If you like the nougat, it might be worth the time and money. Glad to see you got your board walk buildings done. I still have to work on my noodle shop so it fits with my modular version of the surf shop. My city is on the large side thanks to COVID. Construction has slowed down though. Feeling like it’s shaping up. No matter the time spent it is fun. Still need to get my beach going. I started building my own modulars which is fun, but takes time to get things looking good. I’ll get there. Which brick link stores have you found are reliable and send good quality bricks? Getting parts is challenging. Even though my PAB wall is in Dallas they don’t have the greatest choices and it’s quite the drive so going every week is not an option. You have been very fortunate to have gotten the good selection of parts from your store. I hesitate to use brick link. Giving out my credit card information is always dicey online. I’m older so I’m old school. It’s a fun hobby. I enjoy watching you build your city. Mine is in the garage so I have limited space, but I’m making it work. Hope you have a great day.
I think what you can do it take the bottom layer of plate on the 2nd floor off and replacee it with tile and jumper plates. While the tile may not lock everything together, once you put the roof on that will hold everything in place. It will decrease the amount of gray showing and possibily look even better. At least, thats what I would do.
Maybe not a garden on those empty roofs but maybe like a roof top beach party?
Roof top bar!
I got the same set as a gift for my 19th birthday, but I wanted the creator tree house.
11:45 It looks good. But since it's bothering you, swap out the white brackets to 2x2 brackets. Add more white tile to the brackets.
Big rooftop party
The door opens outward on the top of the steep, narrow staircase. That’ll be hard to navigate after too many noodles 😂
It overlooks the beach so look at those roofs as a party location. I think that could work?.
Maybe a basketball court on the rooftop
I love the noodle shop. You're missing the modified 1x2 plates that represents the noodles hanging from the chopsticks on the sign!
you should make a bar on the rooftops or a dance floor
Please tell me you've put instructions up on rebrickable! I've been dying for a good upgrade for the noodle shop that keeps its original aesthetics...
Just a reminder, in many parts of the world, individuals live above their shops, so it may not have been intended to be a 'break room'.
I would make a small apartment for the Chef
I recently finished a MOC of the noodle shop on a 32x32 baseplate. Curious what your thoughts on it are. Can send you some images if you're interrested 🍜😁
Yeer the noodle 🍜 🥢shop set .I'm hopeing to get asap 😊 think it's $50 hear at at K mart so waiting for price to drop. Then I get X 2 of the set
Yes more greebling on the roof. Since it’s right in the front of the city
The toy shop should have one larger blue tower in the middle of the roof.
the connected rooftops needs a PARKOUR. that’s it
The inverted arches between the slopes of the front awning being inset looks a bit off. On the original model they are 1 stud further out, so the appearance is that the slopes are a canopy stretched between curved beams and you can see the shape of those curved beams to give that Chinese architecture flair.
Please turn that rainbow brick pole into a building soon.
So I guess the employees of the noodle shop have the best place and Vue on the beach of the whole city 😂 ! Can I rent their place for a week? Love it though ❤
Hey there "Bricksie", I'm wondering if you have or can make instructions for your Surf modular AND the toy store? I own 2 of each also, but could never decide on a MOC. Id like to build those myself and possibly do a video of the builds (I would defiantly give you credit for the MOCs & designs). Please let me know, thanks! BTW, Great builds!
It would be great if second floor have open air eating area so have a view towards the beach. So far it look generic
I love you videos
...but is that noodle place called the Shanghai Noodle Factory, though, out of curiosity? (The name of that place is from an old song by the rock group that is called Traffic, in case no one got the reference).
Could you please do a train moc. Thx
Link to make the noodle shop modular?
Where do you get all of the Lego pieces from?
you should make the jumper plate cabinet drawer flush with the sink piece above, it looks to much like stairs

Haha, true. Should have used headlight bricks - easy fix
Hi bricksie, love your work. I’m working on a LEGO city too. For now I only have streets and 10 modulars. The problem for me is the MOCS. Can you please share something? Like your street lights, parking lots, small parks or a simple house MOC. I really need some help😢
Does anyone know how many times Bricksie said roof in this video?😂
Hey Jordan how do your fingers hold up after so many long days of building? I remember after finishing the ucs razor crest my finger tips were hurting for the following day or two
you said lets have a quick look at the noodle shop two times
Hey bricksie I have an idea for one of your Lego store sets that is to modularise it into a small fully enclosed modular to have another Lego store in the Lego city I did it with last years Lego store set
