    Have trains run under the lip of the tables. Saves space by removing trains from up top and creates opportunity for subway system/stations. Also, a quick suggestion; please equalize the audio to both channels. It´s quite uncomfortable when listening on headphones to only have sound for most of the video only in the right ear because you do most of the speaking during the video. Keep up the great work!!! Thanks!

    What about a bridge with cars going at the table level and trains running under the tables? You’ll safe a lot of space by moving trains underground, while the bridge will look even cooler.

    Jordan, the bridge is a great idea.. Make your train a trolley car. Have it cross at the end of the park into the zoo, then turn up into the zoo and run into the downtown in the street like a trolley car would. Then cross between the buildings about midway, then cross over to houses and run up the streets into the tunnel. You would have a trolley car that would bring the minififgs from the houses to the amusement park to the city and back.

    Hello Mr. and Mrs. Bricksie. Another great video! IMHO, though I totally understand your desire to make some awesome bridges and I agree that the layout made by Empire LUG was awesome, it just doesn’t fit into your city as you have it now layed out. I think the train layout you have integrated into your city, especially the tunnel into the mountain looks great. If it were my city the main thing I would change is the zoo. To me It takes up way to much prime front and center real estate and we are basically looking at the back of it. I would make a smaller petting zoo at the back corner of the amusement park under the new loop coaster platform. You could possibly still incorporate the aquarium too if it fits. Then you have a large new area right in front to do something amazing with. This would also make the zoo part of the park that now takes up the entire rear section of your city. Keep up the amazing work you do and my wife and I enjoy following daily!

    1) The boat on the NYC postcard is probably supposed to represent the Staten Island Ferry, which is a (few) massive ferries that go to the southern tip of Manhattan and aee famously that color yellow. 2) If/when you start rendering the amusement park, may I suggest you move the ferris wheel? At the moment it blocks a lot of angles to the Loop coaster and you're not seeing some of the coolest parts. Maybe push the wheel to the back wall and turn it 90 degrees so it's flat to that wall? Always love how you have so many things going on and you still manage to keep pushing forward! Can't wait to see all of what's next!

    Ditch the platform in the amusement park, and move the Disney Castle where the platform is. It will give the height you want in that corner, and will give you a more visible spot to put the Loop Coaster.

    Amazing video, the loop coaster looks AMAZING in the city!!!! Also, a suggestion I have for the city is building a regular car bridge to connect 2 roads would be magnificent, also you can build a higher train track by making a bridge that kind of connects the track to the higher track so you don’t need to change anything up!!!!!

  • @conneryc

    Train bridge solution is really easy. Just put the bridges where the track current crosses across the open part between the tables. That way you get the bridges you want but don’t have to change the layout.

  • @Vilhelm22

    You don’t necessarily need to have the bridges going at a 90 degree angle perpendicular to the table. You could have one going across to a more convenient point - so further along the table away from the pillar, maybe. It’s also worth noting here that there are various custom tracks that exist - TrixBrix may be good, or 4D Brix, which have curves going round in easier, more convenient directions to suit the shape of your track. That might help you - I think TrixBrix does a switch on a curve, and continuous curve switches, which may be useful.

    I had bridges in my older layout. They look great but they take up a lot of space. Kinda like when you eliminated the train running around your old setup. Trains take space. So I would look into running them under the table as many have suggested, or through the middle of the tables. You can run bridges over water too. Either way you are going to be crawling under a bridge at some point so be prepared. Great video and I look forward to seeing your solution!👍😎

    Maybe it'd be better to have the corner platform connected to the other one, because the Ferris Wheel pretty much covers the loop rollercoaster completely, so maybe if it was more to the right it would be more visible? Because it’s such a shame that the loop coaster wouldn’t be properly seen. also, with the train bridges, maybe just build them in the area the train tracks already are in? that might work too. :) but anyways, great job with the city, it looks fantastic! Keep up the good work! :D and hope you have a nice day :)

    I feel like it’s simple. Put the focus on the train tracks. Remove everything at the end of those tables. Focus on only laying the train track and bridges. And then just build around the train tracks. Instead of trying to figure out how to build around the buildings, just push that to figuring out how to build around the train tracks.

    You may be able to rebuild the coaster as a mirror image of itself to "flip" the tower to the corner. You may need to to acquire a few pieces to accommodate it. I mirror imaged the bank modular building to reverse the corner and it turned out great. Plus, it would be some great unique content on building mirror images.

  • @sbondi
    @sbondi2 жыл бұрын

    Great content as always! :-) If possible (and I believe as you once had planned for the platform to turn the corner some), I would suggest turning that Loop Rollercoaster platform sideways against the wall with the Disney Castle (assuming it fits), so that (1) the tall tower is in the corner as you wanted, and (2) you get a better view of the coaster unobstructed by the Ferris Wheel. And of course, you would have a bigger platform gap to close (and consequently more platform space).

    What about making the train mono rail style? Lifted up from the roads like 12 to 14 inches high. You would only have to plan support locations and make sure its only over shorter buildings. Maybe make it match the height of the road for the buildings across the back wall and you could have a train station at that height as well.

  • @joeyost1603
    @joeyost16032 жыл бұрын

    A couple things: (1) I think it's a good idea to not move everything around to accommodate a train bridge. (2) You haven't even built the tables for the under table scenes - maybe have a train track running from the train yard to the medieval scene (old school train), and then you can custom make the under table area so that it can accommodate a train. (3) I think the Ferris Wheel either needs to go up on the platform with the Loop coaster, or against the wall so that you can see the Loop Coaster (4) I think instead of rock work or cement walls, you should have small shops like they do on magic kingdom so that the Minifigs can do their gift shop shopping there. Can use friends sets or customize your own - would look a lot more natural!

    You have the open table space. Why not think about a subway system? Make it so the train is exposed in the front of the table. You could make the subway entrance at any location. With some creative thinking even if lets say the subway entrance was a baseplate or two away from the edge of the table you could make arches depicting a tunnel to the entrance. I know this is a very brick intensive project but i think it would save future relocations. you can always have a rise to the upper table if you really wanted to save the tunnel you built.

    The Disney castle should absolutely be put on the platform where the new rollercoaster is instead. You could use the prebuilt stairs to get minifigs up n down. Because you're right the new rollercoaster doesn't look right in it's current position, it'd need flipping and plus it's currently blocked by the ferris wheel. But yeah when you walk into disney the castle is this grand thing to walk towards. So it would make sense to have it at the back instead of crowding the middle. I also think the train going around the amusement park is wasted space honestly. It looks fine just going in an oval shape.

    the Bridges are so cool idea ... but don't make em like the bridges in clip ... just make em like London bridge then u dont need to remove em in most of times ... just open em like a bar door and use the way :)

    Could you have a line split off from the mainline that terminates in a station? You could incorporate one bridge at least.

    I like the train idea but should come up with a solid plan for the future on a different layout when that time comes.

    Do the bridge Idea but make it slop downward under the table to make it like a subway that way u dont have to really mess up your city and still do the bridge idea.

    I know this wouldn't be the easiest thing to do but if you really want the Loop Coaster facing the other way you could take it apart and build it mirrored. Though I kind of like it as is. Ferris wheel is in the way though.

    Hi bricksie, I have a suggestion. Try putting the train and train bridges up on the bulkheads above the city. The lego layout looks awesome so far!

    Like the dual microphones. Always like when you both are in the video. Hard to know what you should work on first. What ever you do will be great.

    Sounds like you almost need to lay down the train first and build around it to include bridges. As for the trees, what if you build it like the massive redwoods. You can put a passage for cars or even a train set to run something through that build. Sounds like an exciting time for the room.
