Regardless of how I think about the stud guns or the launchers, LEGO's Firetrucks never disappoints

Finally! In last years LEGO used water on electricity in sets which is really safety hazard and I'm really happy that they fixed it!

Hey, *_actual_* fire fighters are still using water on Tesla fires, and wondering why it still burns for 4 hours.

God i love the pearlescent coloured pieces, they're gorgeous. Very nice set indeed, looks great and functions well! Unexpectedly a LOT of stuff included with this one.

The playability in this toy is great. So many possible ways to play with it

The use of vibrant yellow colors is well balanced in this set

As a firefighter this set makes me very happy. Not super happy mind you, just very happy. Also, Jang if you are reading this, I would love it if you would show vehicles from standalone city vehicle sets on the new road plates. Preferably with a building or two on the side so we get a feeling of the space it takes up. I wonder if other people feel the same.

Am I the only one that finds Jang's voice calming?

This is one of those sets that feel like it's been in development for a rather long time waiting for the right moment to be released. Because it's just too good to have been designed in half a year. There's just so much stuff going on and it all fits compactly inside of the truck

You know lego city is getting rough when even the fire department has bomb squad robots stored in their trucks

This set is so well realised it doesn’t even look like LEGO! I believe It is the first fire truck with a sophisticated real world equivalent that we have seen since the airport fire truck (60061) released back in 2014. We are very lucky City fans in 2023 :-)

this is one of the most well thought out city sets I've seen from Lego compared to the size/price range that its in. Especially impressed by the functionality of the arm/shooter/winch being interchangeable. Also love the inclusion of foam and the absolutely beautiful pieces. I wish Jang spent a little more time on those back pieces to make it appear as though the back of the truck contains a water and foam tank as that was also a great detail to me. Great set!

I love that Unimog so much, that I bought it twice! So far best City Set for 2023 in my opinion.

This set is so action packed in a very good way. If I were a kid, I'd have so much fun with this.

With how good this thing looks, I'm pretty excited for the rumored arctic/ airport sets in the summer.

The clip system they've been using is really neat.

Lego has done a good job trying to make their products at home in the world market. Thanks to Jang I would now consider buying that just because it's versatile and fits in with my other Lego vehicles

My 3 year old got this a few weeks ago as a gift. He's over the moon with it. The playability is awesome and it loos so tough. Compared to my 1980's fire trucks it's a beast :)

I thought this was a good set before, but seeing this review has just made me realise how INSANE it actually is 😮😮😮

Oh, I thought the multiple colors of projectile was a rendering error, it's great to see that you get two sets of projectiles to represent different substances to extinguish fires with! Knowing this, I would have picked this up for my Bionicle order if it wasn't overpriced.

Nice touch to see the metal colored figure parts!

Pearl Glitter looks pretty cool.

A nice heavy duty fire truck that's outside of the norm. I like the ROVs and swappable modules.

Thank you for your close look at the set! Love the multiple modules included, and especially the interchangeable mounting pars. The pearl however, I'd imagine to be representing dry powder or carbon dioxide extinguishing agent, instead of foam spray.

Jang's on the money with this one. Check out the infographic on the pearlescent door on the rear - a cloud of foam.

I like the effort to make this Truck look different from most of the previous versions.

Great review as always! I think my son (6) will love this set, lots of playability with the shooters, he loves setting up fires around his Lego town and shooting them out.

I'm a guy from Germany who used to work in the Unimog-Plant in my semester breaks. So I got a ride on the test area with some of these beasts. And for no surprise, I have to have it (for under 40€). This fire truck is a beast, too. A big one, maybe too big to fit in my Lego city (honestly, too big to be an Unimog). But the look is fantastic and I like the interchangeable features. There is one small issue, the ladder to the roof doesn't fit, it should be straight. Maybe I will shorten the truck to give it an even more Unimog look.

Love this set, wanted a more detailed fire truck for so long.. but that price is Star Wars level outrageous. Should be $50 and I would get two.

This set is actually pretty dope, I don't care much for city sets but I might actually get it.

This reminds me of the fire truck Sentinel Prime turns into.

I love this fire truck! Lots of play value in this one, just add another City set or forest setup where the fire truck can fight a blaze and you've got something very cool (or hot!) going on! But 65$ is a bit steep.

I’m sad that they removed the hose reels off the fire trucks, when I was little that was always one of the best parts about a Lego firetruck

The lego police degraded ever since 2014 but with the fire sets has always upgraded since then! (My opinion)

It’s refreshing to get big vehicles from LEGO city every now and then. It seems like they don’t do it near as often anymore. And most importantly the severe lack of all important coffee mugs on the dashboards. Lego city has really lost a lot of charm in my opinion

For a firefighting truck, I think it should come with more crew members. Should have 4-5 firefighters.

The silver metallic torso looks great, unfortunately you can only get the other two toros from pick a brick.

I appreciate that a male Minifigure has a long hair head piece. You don't see it often, and some guys do have long hair, me being one of them. I just think it's cool.

Kind of wish they'd made better use of the big block in the back for the price

Is that ladder actually a piece of rollercoaster track? Lego used to have much better telescopic ladders for firetrucks in the past.

Just bought it for € 42 and that seems to be a somewhat reasonable price.

This got me way too excited between the clip system and effort at representing stuff like how electrical fires are put out with different mediums

How many of these pieces come in lime green and orange? Because this looks perfect for modding into a neo-Power Miners vehicle. Maybe it could be called the “Mobile Mining Base” and be the enigmatic 13 that never released during the original run?

Me when I see the Minifigure arms in teal, and I already have two hand pieces in teal so now I can make the arms that chief from rock raiders has: 👁️ 👄 👁️

Love everything about this truck except the shooters, but I guess we are stuck with those from LEGO from now on

all I see here is a self-propelled howitzer painted red with a weaponized aerial drone and a weaponizable land-based drone. Painting it red is the best camouflage, no one will expect the firetruck in the middle of a war-zone. Then it suddenly unpacks like a transformer

Love this set but $49.99 would be a better price. Hoping this gets discounted at some point to around that price point.

It's so big, it's bigger than trees! Does it just run over the fire to smother it?

I’m an AFOL Star Wars/Space collector and really have no interest in city BUT this I want. I have never had any interest in a Lego fire truck but this one is just so cool.. if it’s on sale for a slight discount it will be hard to pass up…

I'm not sure how I feel about this clip modularity system. In theory, it's a great idea, but in practice I find heavy use of clips just leads to a lot of broken clips...

Launchers are cool, but it always feels odd to me when Lego does a fire engine that doesn't have an actual fire hose. It feels like that would be important for play to most kids, but I could obviously be wrong.

A big crazy truck. No chance of parking this anywhere in a city

I don’t get why they make Speed Champions 8-studs wide but something like this is only 6 when it should be 8. It’s a good forest fire truck it’ll just need some modifications.

I would call this an 8 stud vehicle tbh.

Looks great, but also too big. Not just beacuase of the price. Piece count and price one got you a complete space station or another top-of-the-range set.

Wow, in Ukraine it cost 15 usd cheeper. I am surprised, cause usually stuff costs more here

Lego fire trucks used to be like actually fire trucks, now they are just doing too much. What happened to a fire truck that actually looked like a real life one

I dislike the fire drone. It is quite large and I don't know if it is possible a drone could carry enough heavy liquid to put out a substantial fire. The truck is too wide as well. Sincerely, Bob

This is not really my favourite because the colours are I think all over the place

I’m sorry but $65 is a total rip off for this. This is a 30-40$ range. Lego pricers are just absurd now
