I love that this game took a group of the most sadistic and evil characters from the entire series and threw them into a daycare behind a shitty night club that constantly blares the same song over and over and dooms them to constantly play with equipment that tortures them in some way or another for all time while the Toa walk among them

We may not be getting a remaster, but we are getting a really cool fan made Bionicle game. kzread.info/dash/bejne/l2abyaOMh86nYsY.html LEGO noticed and greenlit the project. Even got Tony Wedgewood on it.

I get the feeling that the Toa Inika deliberately designed most of these machines to be faulty just to fuck with the Pirakha. XD

I know the piraka were actually very powerful villians, btu you gotta love this game for it's humor, as well as playability. hell, the damn commercials for the toys just made them seem like assholes

I still have the DVD lol I been playing it again recently and honestly it's just as much fun as I remember. I found a download on a website where you can get it for free without a disk. There's a little bit of modding involved but you can get it as long as you have a ps2

Yeah, however they also enslaved a Island of inocent matoran and tried to kill almost everyone they met, including eachother, they kind of deserve it

I remember watching these all the time when I was a kid, Bionicle made for a great childhood.

I wonder if the Toa built the playground as a way to show the Piraka there was no hard feelings.

@@yellowpower3755 I've started imagining the Toa and Piraka are just as antagonistic as ever, the Piraka just know from experience that the Toa can kick their asses in a one-on-one fight, and the others will literally never let them be the one to kill a Toa. If one of them had the Toa Inika at their mercy, the others would try to swoop in, and the infighting would buy the Toa all the time they needed to recover and beat the shit out of them again. So they just don't even try. They obey the foghorn because they don't want to know what happens when they don't, and the activities look pretty fun anyways so why not?

....wow....I remember this shit. This was such an odd decision to put this in the game. But man did those pirama know how to chill. And it never seems to work out for them

the chair one was my favorite the music is beautiful it actually makes you feel like you're at the beach enjoying life

I gotta be honest with everyone here...you look at the toy and you see that huge grin on the Piraka's face. Your reaction will either be to get scared... or laugh at how stupid they looked. I thought they looked idiotic, but in an endearing way. The lore depicts them as serious and evil, but I sympathize with the Piraka!

This beach must be the Pirakas’ prison, a lovely and peaceful prison😄

@String Shepherd I think he means because in 2007 Bionicle have the Baraki and the Toa Mahri who in the story canon they fought underwater, the Baraki being sea creatures themselves like squids and stuff. The Toa Mahri being the Inika that you play as in this game but they look different and are geared up to go underwater.

For those of us who grew up with the first gen. bionicle, most of us were getting too old to care about the 2007 gen. I lost touch with the Mahri... very sad. Voya Nui had such an awesome story, hard to follow up on that.

I feel like they’d do this sort of stuff after leveling Bara Magna and enslaving every one(including their allies)

Piraka was not in any of the films, you must have confused them with Rahkshi (by the way, they are also in this game). But yes, according to the original idea, the Piraka are really bloodthirsty and cruel bandits.

I remembered when I was a kid I managed to push one of them off in the water. Must have been some collision glitch. The map showed a death mark and they didn’t respawn until I left the playground.

I had this on the Wii. It remains the only game I’ve played till destruction. I simply put the disc on one day for my possibly 90th play through and it finally said “unable to read”. I wasn’t too sad cuz I knew it off by heart and it had started developing some spectacular glitches and graphical errors.
