if you dont kill him, you are making him in more pain. they are always in pain unless they have killed the doom slayer/died already. this is because their bones and ligaments have moved while they were still alive. it hurts like hell. IN HELL..

I like both DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal, but I fr wish DE had the kind of glory kills and Slayer death animation that there where in 2016. The Baron of Hell glory kill was one of my favorite in the game because you take the horn and finish it with its own horn and it's brutal as hell, but in DE you just chop it up. The music is also more well timed in 2016. If DOOM Eternal had the same gameplay, music, and weapons, but the attention to glory kills, deaths, and timing in the music it would literally be the best game. They're both wonderful games and if they had certain things mixed in it would be the best game.

honestly I prefered the more gritty brutal style of doom 2016, it was so cool listening to the testaments placed across the areas in hell.

I actually felt so bad about killing him that i deleted my save file and started a new one because even though i reloaded my checkpoints he never came back.
