My brother had a few of them AND the happy meal pirakas. I remember at some point we would play with the bionicles together and i was fascinated with the piraka. 15 years later i'm 21 and still love em. we put a couple of the HM toys on his cake this year. it was gas man.

I had 0 understanding of what was happening in this game as a kid, but I still played the hell out of this game and can remember all of the beginning cutscenes.

Kind of a reoccurring theme with games from the mid 2000s. Rome total war, flatout2, oblivion... just to mention a few. I like the vibe of it

Loved this game. Only gripe is. It didn't follow the actual lore. Axxon wasn't evil. Brutaka was kinda an anti hero. And they kinda missed out on the Pirakas actual personalities. If they ever did a remaster. I would hope they would redo the entire story. Because this was a lot of rinse and repeat. Had a lot of missed opportunities.

I agree Axonn shouldn’t have been a villain, perhaps an ally or player 2 character maybe or a special playable character that you could get after the game like vezon, and they should’ve done a little better voice acting specifically for hahli and Roodaka

Sadly thats not true,they did know that she's female,the boss intro showed her with a mirror(bc thAt5 waT 6rlIIs d0.sexist) they are well aware of that,thay even have to put her description in the game.I guese that the reason for them to do that is to cut cost,or that every female bionicle should sound manly

The game was amazing but I had only one problem with it Spoiler: Once you beat the respective piraka you get them as a playable character in their areas but when you beat vezon, he replaces all the others and I do mean ALL, I know you get to unlock other secrets and stuff with vezon only but I wanted to play as the piraka, they were more unique and was a nice break from the regular cast and to top it all of there wasn't even an option to go back to them (as far as I know).

Shouldn't be hard now, it's been 16 years since release so it costs pennies now

It sucks that they made them soooo incompetent, but it’s a kids game so it’s understandable. It would make a cool teenage/young adult game though if they actually made a story accurate game today. Piraka means “thieves and murderers” and they live up to their name in the actual storyline. It’d probably be an awesome investment if they made a game that was playable through the Piraka’s perspective along with the Toa Inika. Plus they can make a bunch of DLC stories for other major-minor characters like the Myth of Irnakk, Vezon’s quest for the Mask of Life, Brutaka, Axonn, and Botar.

@@TheManBehindTheSlaughter6669 In the story, after falling in the lava Fenrakk (and Vezon) is reborn into Kardas (still fused with Vezon) and they are defeated by the Toa Inika with a special Zamor sphere given to them by Axonn (in the story he's an ally of the Toa and the Matoran) that freezes them, allowing Matoro to get the Kanohi Ignika.

I didn't appreciate this game for what it was when I first played it but rewatching these scenes is bringing back so many good memories. I miss being a kid man..

I really like the models in this game; they look better than the bionicle movie models, that's for sure. However, here's a list of all the set inaccuracies I noticed, in (sorta) chronological order. (feel free to reply any I missed) - All the piraka have the same feet. - Thok's weapon is missing the blue tube. Likewise Hakann's weapon is missing the red lightsaber rod. - Reidak's weapon doesn't have a handle like that. - All the piraka are holding their zamor sphere launchers wrong. - The models have actual hands (To be fair, the mata hands aren't overly expressive.) - Avak's jaw is too wide. Also his right forearm is on backwards. - 1:21 Balta has onua claws. - 1:27 Dalu has onua claws too. - This is the only cutscene where all the piraka have the correct feet, but they have symmetrical arms. - Rahkshi don't have lower arms, and the upper arms should be gray. - Guurahk should be mata blue, not metru (dark) blue. - The kraata go in the rahkshi's back, not the head. - Not all of the kraata are green. - Rahkshi thighs should be gray. - All the rahkshi have vahki pelvises. - Roodaka's rhotuka spinner is replaced with a weird claw made of gali hooks. - 4:37 The scenery around Vezok shows the right piraka feet but Vezok's model still has the wrong feet. Why? - Hahli has the wrong forearms. - Why is Jaller's sword so big? - 6:50 Fikou spiders are way bigger than that. - 7:37 Contrary to popular belief, the set does NOT defy gravity. - Nidhiki's head is silver. - Nidhiki's claws are symmetrical. - 9:50 Matoro has the wrong torso and forearms. - 12:19 Avak's torso is backwards. - 12:52 Contrary to popular belief, the set does NOT conduct electricity. - 13:53 Kanoka disks don't look like that. - 14:40 Avak's holding his weapon upside down. - 15:22 Hewkii has the same issue as Matoro. - 15:57 Turahk's spine can't fold up like that. - Turahk's the wrong colour. - 20:21 Contrary to popular belief, the set does NOT survive being inside a fireball. - 22:23 Vorahk's spine doesn't alternate like Panrahk's does.. At least not on mine. - 22:58 Contrary to popular belief, the set does NOT have genitals. - Lerahk is also the wrong colour. - Sidorak's rhotuka spinner is missing. - Vezon's staff is missing the brown armor piece. - Vezon's chain doesn't attach to his wrist. - 35:15 Hold on, how come Vezon has regular feet when Vezok, Hakann and Reidak don't?

Wow this is bringing back so many memories. I almost completely forgot that I played this game as a kid! I’m only 26 too! How time flies!

This game was so much fun I played the shit out of it when I was little and watching this makes me want to find a copy to buy so I can play it again. Also considering how old the game is these graphics still look really good. Also I really like how each of the baraka have their own unique environments base on the element that represent it's really fun that and the beach area where you can have them do all kinds of goofy shit it's all really fun.

It will never unfortunatly, clearly this game is dead in anyway possible because first this game is considered as bad by many, two the ip of lego bionicle as for now doesn't exist anymore also game like this are only made for promoting lines of toys so the inika and piraka but these or just any bionicle are not produced anymore, And 4 90% of the people at TT games who worked on this game back in 2006 ave leave the compagny since including like john burton who made the compagny soo yeah this game is litteraly dead.

This game was about its personality, pure raw personality.

Avak's Stronghold: always best soundtrack, my younger self just jamming out to that bionicle rock, it keeps getting stuck in my head from time to time

One cutscene is missing from Avak, when you knock down the building that looks like his face, and he dodges, but one of the teeth pieces falls onto his head.

Sometimes i still play this game on my PS2, and remember the good old days.

Ah yes, one of the most ambitious game there is.

Mans balls are gone.

No wonder i beat this game 5 times over. Its so god damm long. Plus the final boss fight with vezon wasnt even that hard which was actually nice for some reason

Now I really wanna get this game.

The musik at the end is sooo good i love this game 🤩

I played this game before and still have the game.

always wondered that myself i wonder if originally that level was meant for avak instead of a factory for avak orignally it was a desert before they switched it

I loved this game I wish the toys where just like this alive and thinking

This was my first bionicle game !!

You know during my time playing Bionicle Heroes I had no clue that the Toas you play as were the ones from the Mask of Light movie 😅
