You forgot to point out in the beginning of the video that this was the first LEGO Game by TT Games to not be based on a Lucasfilm property.

This game takes design ideas from both the Tim Burton Batman films and the Animated Series there’s even a reference to the killing joke with an alternate version of the Joker dressed up like he is in the original comic which is awesome and really this game pulls from the best history and puts it all together even the intro cutscene with the titles is a lego version of the title portion of the animated series it’s a serious love letter to Batman before Arkham Asylum came out

This is my favorite Lego game and the first game I ever owned. Along with pure and Lego Indiana jones/kung fu panda I remember Christmas morning and getting my 360 and I’ll never forget this game. Not the first game I ever played but it was the first one I ever owned it was mine and I played it everyday religiously. My mom said she was tired of telling me what the game was saying because I didn’t know how to read and that why I went to school so I could learn how to play my favorite game. This game will always hold a very special place in my heart along with every Lego game after.

“Flight of the Bat” from the heroes’ side of “Episode 3: The Joker’s Return” was a major thorn in my side because of the flaming pipe a Joker Goon Helicopter sets off until I learned that helicopter mines work the same way as the Batboat’s mines do. It just goes to show how some hated vehicle levels become more beloved over time-unless they’re the _LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues_ vehicle levels.

Man, where to Begin with this Game....Well, actually I do know: This game came out before my 8th Birthday and started my Love for DC and Batman, and I knew a lot of Batman Lore due to this game alone!!! This was another *the last game we got on PS2 was the OG Star Wars back in 05 the year after* game we got on our PS2, and was the only one *actually we didn't complete Lego Movie 1* didn't complete!!! Our PS2 Broke while we started the Joker Villians Levels!!! So we where mostly done Story, started a bit of Free Play, then Dead!!! 3 Years ago I found this game again on PC and I got it and this time we got to 95-98% Done, but this time was everything except a few "Painful" *I didn't get them before and still didn't now* Collectables and some other things!!! So as a 23 Year Old, I still haven't finished it!!! I introduced so many of my friends to this and we had a blast back on my PS2!!! Also this was the second last Disco song behind Lego Indy 2, I still have in my head now as child me did!!! *From Lego SW 1 until Lego Indy 2, was my Memories of Lego Games and songs and sounds in my head including Danny Elfman's GOAT Batman Music!!!* This game did so much new things for Lego: For Majorly - The Villian Campaign!!! What a great why to make this game seem so much Larger than it is!!! That was such a cool addition to the Lego Games, introduced first *Properly* in this game!!! Thus other was the Suits and they was Awesome too!!! I love this game to bite and properly introduced me to world of Comic Book Movies!!! *I haven't read or Watched anything non Majour Superheros Related Before Playing this Game!!!* Thanks for Listening to my Ted Talk, have a Lovely Day!!!

I’ve really enjoyed this game which is better than Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and the 2002 Spider-Man game. The DS version gets a vehicle level for the first episode on the Villain side. You didn’t mention that the last data reads “The End?” which is a teaser for Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. Even Superman is mentioned in the game’s data. This was the last Lego game on the PS2 (and for sixth generation consoles), the last Lego game on consoles/PC to have the hub be small areas with no collectibles and easy to unlock levels and the last Lego game to lack a split screen for co-op. You didn’t mention that “Extra Toggle” has no effect, due to an oversight. This game is why I see no point of collecting any of the 2006-2008 Lego Batman sets. This game’s success paved the way for later DC games and it came bundled with Xbox 360 consoles. I’ve played this game on the DS, Wii, Xbox 360 & PSP. This game has the smallest character roster for any Lego game on consoles, but the DS version has a larger character roster. The description before each level is how every Lego game from TT outside of Star Wars should’ve been prior to 2012 since it helps you understand what’s going on. This game came out the same year as The Dark Knight. You can build some additional characters in the character creator who are in the DS version. This was the first Lego game without music by John Williams. I think this is the only Lego game on consoles from TT where you never get to see any sunlight whatsoever. The villain levels in this game later inspired Lego DC Super Villains. I have the Lego Batman Visual Dictionary book which talks about this game. You should check it out!

The second-to-last good Lego game imo. Harry Potter 1-4 was AWESOME, Pirates was underwhelming and a bunch of features were removed. Same with Potter 5-7 and Indiana Jones 2 marked the end of the cute Lego games for me. Don't know if I just grew up though
