Zhu Ting (Chinese: 朱婷; pinyin: Zhū Tíng; born 29 November 1994) is a Chinese female volleyball player. She is the Outside Hitter and Captain of the Chinese women's volleyball national team. She played for Turkish club Vakıfbank Istanbul from 2016 to 2019, and currently plays for Tianjin Bohai Bank.
Zhu and the Chinese national team have won several gold medals in international competition, including in the 2016 Olympic Games and the 2019 World Cup. Since her debut in 2011, Zhu has received 13 MVP awards at all levels of competition, including the MVP award of Rio Olympic Games 2016. She is widely regarded as one of the best and most decorated indoor volleyball players of all time. She is also the highest paid professional volleyball player in the world, male or female, as of the 2018/2019 season.

Zhu is a living legend! An all-round player with extraordinary spiking and blocking skills, quite balanced in defending, serving and receiving as well! That’s what makes her so distinctive! Simply the best female volleyball player in the world!

P L it only proves that you are an amateur...As an outside hitter, Zhu is capable of receiving the serve for all six rounds. There is no doubt that she has incredibly strong blocking skills. Maybe she is not the best in receiving or defending, but compared with other top spikers like Boskovic and Egonu etc, Zhu is much more balanced! That’s why Zhu is the highest-paid volleyball player.

She does not need 3,4 steps to get powerful spikes.Her vertical jump with power spike is unique.Paola and Tijana are in deed excellent strikers.But Zhu is a bit above them.
