Legacy Litchi Rail Cam
Ғылым және технология
Due to my travel schedule I am taking the opportunity to share one of my earlier videos.
This was originally put out on the Phantom and Mavic Filmschool back in 2017. The film school is still a great resource that teaches not just about drones but about core concepts of film making, and is well worth the investment. You can check that out here: phantom-filmschool.thinkific....
Unfortunately, DJI has stopped supporting the feature that this technique relies upon, and so this only applies to older drones upto and including the Mavic 2 series. But, if you have one of the supported drones, this is a technique that is excellent, and actually something that they introduced as a major feature on the Inspire 3.

Thanks again!
Can I request a video about camera settings with regards to MF, AFC & AFS.? How to stop it switching back to MF if you have AFC or AFS selected and which setting she we use? Last request…. When setting up a mapping mission, let’s say an Ortho type for now and you have it set to “timed shots”. When you’ve planned the area, pressed save it will give you the number of images it will take and the length of time to do it. Should the number of images being taken increase or decrease if the timed camera shot is 0.7 seconds or every 2 seconds? It doesn’t appear to update the mission plan details before or during flight. Hope that makes sense.

I've taken a note of the request - thanks. No idea when I will get to it but hopefully soon. Since it's not Litchi, which software are you referring to for the mapping question?

@@aviosmedia it’s the standard DJI Pilot 2 App that comes installed with the controller in the Mavic 3 Enterprise.

@@firefighterleetiktok85 It should all be based on overlaps. If you increase the camera speed then it should adjust the flight speed to match and you end up with the same number of images.

@firefighterleetiktok85 I was just going over the list of videos for the future and looking at this request. Which software are you interested in seeing this with? I won't cover Litchi - it's not good mapping software, but happy to cover in Pilot 2 or Dronelink
