I think its still possible. For example Young doctors associations need some sort of partial amalgamation. Same can be done with paramedic associations, teacher unions, farmer unions, industry unions. But to achieve this leaders of these associations will have to work together towards this goal.

I am a 3rd year student in Mehran university of engineering and technology. I am not a nationalists, but I know about their movements, their struggles. I read the books of nationalists and leftists. Sir, I don't know about other provinces, but in Sindh leftists and nationalists were against feudalism and they did not belong to the feudal class(Though some leaders(nationalists) were elite, but their behavior was people-friendly, were against feudal ie: GM Syed . They(Sindhi nationalists) never called themselves Wadera/Sardar/Khan). Yes, you are right. Nationalists have a hostile narrative against Punjabi intellect and Punjabi leftists . One of the reasons is, according to the nationalists perspective: Punjabi leftists are like liberals(who pretend to be sympathetic with oppresed people). They have become narrow, rightly said. What to do to overcome this tension or misunderstanding? I think, Leftists are not well introduced with lower class as compare to nationalists .So, You have to be pronationalist(As acc to me, demands of nationalists are fair. You should support them). You should endorse their demand that Pakistan should be the very federation what the nations were promised for, as per resolution of 1940. The federation should have only 3 things ie: foriegn affairs, currency and Army. provinces should be independent states and they should have their own identity. I think, such moves from you can melt the hearts of lower class(as lower class supports nationalism and is affiliated to it).

Sir,it is too much idealist goal to gather all the labour class of globe... I was basically idealism that led to 2nd world war. So,be Realist lest there should be a 3rd world war. Just focus on our state,Pakistan.. Then,the momentum of successful socialism in Pakistan would shake hands across the borders of our state.

Sir don't you think it's a limitation of leftiests that they talk only about labourers? Why don't u talk about the collective will of all sections of society? And plz convey the message of unity. Our ancestors had got this piece of land by sacrificing a lot. I fear due to our mistakes one day everything might end in smoke. This counry wasn't created to be torn into pieces.

I think so, Privileges should be given to the poor including working as well as non working class (employment and education especially). Socialists should amend their policies. There should not be complete removal of Capitalism. Socialism should secure its place in the existing system. If it is basically a party of the working and poor class,being Muslim socialists, why not we start aid programming from funds. Why not we start aid from Zakat funds.

@@yusrarana3814 socialists were viewed as a threat because of some of their extreme policies. I don't think so that every rich one is an evil man.The focus and struggle should be to not wholly change the system but to remove the major obstacles in the path of progress of common people.

@@naveedahmad8687 nationalist and socialist are both enemies of this country. The first group wants to break up Pakistan and form their little kingdoms. The second group believe in a failed ideology and want to violently take over the resources of the country in the name of emancipation of laborers and poor people. There is no doubt that this current rotten post colonial exploitative system need to be changed but not with the ones mentioned above. Our country need a new dynamic system with secular democracy, rule of law, basic human rights, division of provinces into manageable sizes, acceptance of diversity of culture, language and religion, equal opportunity, private property/ businesses, an efficient and fair taxation system and national social welfare programs for the masses i.e. education, health, housing etc.

@@Taimur_Laal the one thing they say is that, at present the CPI is weak and does not have widespread support of the working people. They argue that, rather than armed struggle we should instead focus on increasing the party membership by working on the field. The other problem which they always talk about is the growing right-wing populism and ultra-nationalism which has weakened the working class and how it has erased any mild thought of their emancipation.

@@kinggedro9040 My god, sometimes I just marvel at how people only hear what they want to hear. I have argued that unity between nationalists and communists is difficult. And you are saying I am supporting terrorism. It is like someone saying "it is day time outside" and you are saying "how can you say it is night time, shame on you". Matlab, baat ko samjho to sahi.
