I am currently involved in a "Make the Company a better place to Work" committee. For lack of a better explanation, the main goal is for members of the committee to come up with their thoughts on where the company is broken and how to fix it. One of the things recognized to be an issue is nepotism, the bosses play favorites and only promote those they wish regardless of skill or qualification. The push now is to be sure those being promoted are indeed qualified. I guess we're microaggressing!
