Totally agree. A character in football which very rarely exists today. Just an everyday guy and very underrated in my opinion.

Man was on Soccer AM every week it felt like.

Love the clip when he rolls it down across back, turns an volleys an you can hear the Welsh commentator scream TRUNDLEEEEEEE

Great to see Parky on form again. Been a while. The Lee Preston for Wales genuinely had me laugh 😂

One of the highlights of Kiddy harriers brief tenure in L2 was Trundle strolling around the pitch for Swansea not breaking a sweat, and being the best player by a mile. Legend.

We loved LT at Wrexham, I remember his first 5 goals which were outstanding. The season we were promoted he didn't get the recognition, glad he had such a great career, top man.

Lee played 5 a side with a gang of us in Kirkby a few years ago. Just an indoor court. He was ridiculously good and I looked forward to playing against him every week. A really nice lad as well, no ego whatsoever.

I remember watching him playing for Chorley a long time ago. You could tell where he was headed!

This 1 was class!

As Bristol City fans, we could always see there was a clash between Gary Johnson & Lee Trundle. Lee scored a couple of cracking goals, early in the season against Scunny and we were bemused that he was kept regularly on the bench when all us fans knew he should be starting. We lost in the play off final that season after missing out on automatic on the final day. I'm still convinced that Lee had been played regularly in that side, we would have gone straight up automatically.

Andy Robinson didn't play for Neath. He was with Trundle at Ammonford though. Kris O'Leary did and Chris Jones and Kerry Morgan were the other ex Swans at the time
